Survivors of the zombie bash-fest!! Alrighty! Nearly one year older and you still wanna pogo the flesh off your bones!? Then better do not turn down the volume, cause Canada’s shrewd observers of the apocalypse are right back with a new slashing full-length banger. Once again a sturdy little bastard of punk that stuck in your head with the first stab. The second outfit of THE DAGGER EYES is looking through grim-reaper’s masks and wants you to join the bone-jarring party from the crypt immediately. No problem for those who are already familiar to THE DAGGER EYES. It only takes a short noisy intro and “swoosh!” it feels like home. These twelve new tracks own the same propulsive force as the zombie-killing debut while the guitar and voice sound a shade darker here. In some songs (“New Wave” or “The Rats”) the sound effects are building tiny little melodies for creepy cold wave mood which perfectly blend in THE DAGGER EYES bon ton. The songs were recorded at Yogi's Meatlocker & the House of Targ, pressed on black wax and fixed in black & white/silver super cool artwork created by Bree Crosby. Keep it simple! Keep it punk!

They deliver an in-your-face mega catchy mix of ‘77punk & post-punk with a voice many hardcore-punkers out there dreamed all living days of and never reached.
This is a perfect soundtrack for your impending spaceship battle to defend our planet earth from the next alien invasion. Drums & bass pushing you forward like the most reliable combustion engine you can imagine, the simple guitar burns as hell and the under the skin crawling voice adds high-octane fuel to the flames. Some perfectly balanced sound effects & the great artwork of Montreal based artist Lisa Czech http://lisaczechfromspace.tumblr.com make this debut a KILLER!

DAN SETTEN -Mask Rouletta LP (Hjernespind / Kick`n`Punch Rec.) 10,50 Euro
Yes, it`s true. This is the new project of Rasmus from APA and YOUNG WASTENERS, and this sounds NOTHING like any of those bands whatsoever. Here he takes his musical skills to new heights and mix his songwriting with inspiration from various postpunk acts, blues and even jazz into one hell of a record! All recorded by himself with the help of a few friends here and there. This is absolutely amazing and one of the best records from Denmark in a long time!!!

DANCE INC. - Both Sides… 7" (Audiolith Series Rec.) 1,50 EUR

DANGERLOVES - Easy 7" (Dead Ideas Rec.) 5,00 EUR

DARK BLUE - Never Wanted To Hurt You LP (Adagio 830 Rec.) 12,90 EUR
Dark Blue follow up their debut LP, ‘Pure Reality’, with ‘Start Of The World’ (12XU) – a soundtrack of a decaying United States. Each song drips with the realities of atrocities happening all around us ; John Sharkey III (Vocals, Guitar) pushes Dark Blue far beyond the post-punk meets oi sound they perfected on their earlier releases, and adds elements of brit-pop and shoegaze. Recorded by Jeff Zeigler (Kurt Vile, Nothing), ‘Start Of The World’ is a pop album that makes no apologies.
Boot stomping opener “Union of Buffoons,” sets the political tone for this album with an anthem for workers’ rights. Sharkey’s biting lyrics: “You can’t fight this, you can’t win…screw you once, they’ll screw you twice,” is a reference to human expendability in the face of deregulation and the stagnancy of labor rights. “Never Wanted to Hurt You” is a pop song in the highest order with guts and an undeniable chorus that would make Noel Gallagher jealous even at his most jaded....

DARK SKIES - Dark Skies LP (Empty Rec.) BLUE vinyl Edit. 15 EUR
100 LIMD. BLUE WAX EDITION IN STOCK!!!
DARK SKIES is a no bullshit, three piece rock and roll band from Portland Oregon. Fast, loud, and dirty, Dark Skies drop their brand of garage heavy psych-blues with the weight of an anvil through your fucking speakers. Joe Machamer (vocals/guitar x-Sympathy Records band VEGAS THUNDER), Charlie Gotgart (bass), and Rob McConnalog (drums) stomp and twist their throttling, heavy soul stylings through channels of GROUNDHOGS and the MC5 - but burgeon in the hydroponic northwest heat of DEAD MOON and the WIPERS. No shtick, no gimmicks - just full stacks and faith in the power of rock.

DAVILA 666 - Same 12" (Rob`s House Rec.) 15,50 EUR
DAVILA 666 are in full-on take no prisoners mode. we asked them for a couple songs for a 7" and what we got was 5 near perfect pop anthems that would never fit on a 7". of course we wanted them all so we threw them on a 12" and what youre getting is probably their best release to date. These songs are instantly addicting but unlike other puerto rican imports consumption is no crime, it's encouraged! on top of that their live show is one of the best around and their constant touring has left a path of amazed fans. Its no wonder that when we booked the atlanta mess around the legendary urinals asked specifically not to be placed after davila 666 in the lineup!! Who in their right mind would want to follow davila 666? ...better to follow 'em with a shot of something equally strong. limd. 666 pressed; black vinyl.

DAY CREEPER - Blah! 7" (Tic Tac Totally Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Europe exclusive distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
You may already know Day Creeper from Randy Records' "New Kids On The Block" 7" comp (2009) or split 7" with Night Of Pleasure (2008). "Blah!" is the band's first 7", showcasing 4 select cuts of "rock-leaning-punk" gleaned from Aaron Troyer and Laura B's stockpile of recordings. Rock peppered with cheese-free pop kernels. Plus, a super crisp recording delivers "Blah!" from that old reverb-drunk-tank and let's Aaron's lyrics do their thing. One song on this record (Women of Age) can be heard on TTT's label sampler for a quick taste. Anticipate a ltd. LP of killer shit too (due out spring 2011 and also on ye olde Tic Tac Totally).

DAY OF THE DEAD - A New Healing Process LP (Assault Rec.) 10,90 EUR
The debut full lenght from Portugal's Day Of The Dead finds the band picking up where they left off with their previous efforts. They've upped the ante and go for the throat with 12 tracks of explosive and unrelenting modern hardcore. Honest and sincere, "A New Healing Process" eschews sloganeering and empty phrases in favour of socially relevant and intelligent lyrics. Laced with slick melodies and infused with the passion of five guys who never lost their faith in Hardcore as a medium to affect change, Day Of The Dead made sure that this is the record they'll be remembered for. Pissed off and politically aware, their aural assault will appeal to fans of everything from American Nightmare and Envy to Modern Life Is War. Get ready to dance, sing along and start to think about the decisions you make.

DC SNIPERS - Missile Sunset LP (Dead Beat Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Now this is something to get EXCITED about. A total winner here that plays good all the way through. Just a super-solid release!! The DC Snipers from NYC bring something different to the table with each of the 11 tracks on this album; and it’s hard to do that and actually end up with a record that’s good! But the Snipers have proven it’s not impossible. This album is not only good it's great!! Taking cues from other musical pioneers like the Screamers, Gang of Four, Urinals and the Electric Eels; the DC Snipers forge into their own fragmented, audience-less sector and begin to build a following based on songs that are undeniably catchy without sticking to a musical ‘script’. The most difficult part of being in a proto/art punk/whatever band like this: is to do something completely inovative and different, yet still leaving the listener with something loosely ill defined to grasp onto and the DC Snipers completely nail that. Include Mike Sniper, Pre- Blank Dogs. RECOMMENDED.

DC SNIPERS / TAMPOFFS split 7" (Daggerman Rec.) 5,75 Euro
This is the first release for the DC SNIPERS since their platinum selling smash hit Missile Sunset lp. The flip is the long over-due vinyl debut for the TAMPOFFS, Boston's beloved delinquents. Songs: Baby/Dirtbag b/w Gentlemen/Lead. GREAT artwork by Mike Sniper!!!

DD OWEN / DIE RÖTZZ - Euro Tour 7" (Secret Identity / Red Lounge Rec.) 6,50 EUR
Originally from Baltimore, Owens has been living in New Orleans where he’s settled into the local punk scene including teaming up with rabble rousers Die Rötzz to release a split 7” single and an upcoming Scandinavian tour that will take them to Helsinki and Turku.
DD Owen's contribution to the record is a song about fellatio. The Die Rötzz side is about settling a dispute in a car lot with a 6-inch bowie boot knife. It’s time to find out just how liberal the Scandinavians truly are.

DD OWEN & SHITTY LIFE - Same 7" (Goodbye Boozy Rec.) 6,00 EUR
New projects DD Owen (Sick Thoughts) with Fuck Italian Punk Shitty Life!!! K.B.D.!!! Punk!!! Lo-Fi !!!!Fucknig Great!!! limited 300 press.

DEAD AS A DODO - Same 7" (Yakisakana Rec.) 5,00 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! French guitar/drums duo with a rootsy reverb-driven sound. Raw stripped-down blues punk sound with a solid drumming and vicious raw guitar parts. Think FATALS with more garage sound.

DEAD GERMAN - Vicious Repent LP (Dead Beat Rec.) 12,50 EUR
All star line up on this fucker containing ex members of both BRIMSTONE HOWL & DIGITAL LEATHER. Coming off more BRIMSTONE HOWL than DIGITAL LEATHER, Dead German are an ugly sounding band. It's all slashed riffs and barbed wire anthems just waiting to carve a whole in your head. There's a consistently focused edge in what Dead German are doing throwing in the occasional melody only when it's absolutely necessary. Overall just pure face melting, Fuzz Box overload that takes the trash rock aesthetic to a whole new apex of awesomeness. If you're into shit like the FATALS, Reatards , Oblivians or classic Aussie stuff like the Onyas or Cosmic Psychos, consider this another speaker smoldering Rock N Roll burner that's sure to rattle the walls. Great!!!

DEAD LUKE - Running Scared 7" (Sweet Rot Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Third single from Madison, Wisconsin's DEAD LUKE following his first two releases on Sacred Bones. 4 songs that range from dark and haunting, to surprisingly poppy and upbeat, all home recorded with a perfect balance between electronics and guitars. Eye catching cover art courtesy of Ilth.

DEAD STOP - Live Kontich, Belgium 2003 CD (Fan Club) 7,90 EUR
Maybe the BEST Europe Hardcore band ever!!!

DEAD WIFE - CS Tape (Campaign for Infinity Rec.) 7,50 EUR
DEAD WIFE are three ladies and a boy drummer from Montréal, Quebec, whose cassette tape suffers from extreme Type I tape noise and low dubbing sound level which make it kinda frustrating to listen to whether the Dolby noise reduction is off or on. But the band still brings enough spirit to translate through the murk enough to land on my list on bands I'd like to hear all-cleaned-up. And I found out what they really sound like on their MySpace page. Forget Loni Love and Gilbert Gottfried, Micheal Ian Black, the Sklar brothers, The Donnas, and all the other snippet-sniping heads in the little pop-up bubbles on shows such as "Best Week Ever" and "World's Dumbest Criminals". The ladies are Dead Wife have something more interesting to say about pop culture clichés. At least, I think they do. "Choke" has got that contemporary reverb drench on the vocals which rate sky-high on the brat meter. Musically, they remind me of Kill the Hippies' early tapes and 7"es, but with little more touch of 80s hardcore, which is a huge compliment. Do you know how much I love Kill the Hippies?"

DEAN DIRG - 35 Minute Blitz Digi Pack CD-only (Stereodrive Rec,) 8,90 EUR

DEAN DIRG - Demo 7" (Selfrelease Rec.) 7,00 EUR

DEATH KOOLAID - Vol.1 10" (Selfrelease Distributed By No Front Teeth Rec.) 10,90 EUR
Limited Edition red coloured vinyl edit. Female fronted heavy punks like the PLASMATICS that featured a member of THE GAGGERS at one point! "Death Koolaid are a London based 4-piece that originated in 2013 and recently emerged with their debut 10" “Vol.1”, featuring some 7 songs of old-school Punk Metal. Not the most obvious genre, as even during its 'heydays' in and around the early – mid 80's, this thing was pretty much clouded in obscurity. Then again, it may work in the advantage of Death Koolaid, sounding anything but Mainstream or trendy. This is genuine, independent style Underground music that is rough, raw and provocative with the snarling vocalage of front-lady 'Siren Sycho' in the centre of attention. Spinning this 7-songer is like being in the front-row of a sweaty, boozed-up moshpit frenzy in a dark, basement-type venue. The disc opens with “Rains”; an all 80's Punkster with blurry, overpowered guitars, crunching riffs and a whole lot of vocalistic aggression. The up-tempo “The Horrors” has bit of a classic, Dark Wave atmosphere over its Metal and Punk mixed root, repeated on the slow dragging “Do You Know What You're here For”. Things tend to get more Metal minded on the slightly Rammstein infused “The Second Rule” and the first half of “I Can Smell Blood” before it accelerates as a riff-based PunkMetaler. It all gets really nasty, filthy and intense on the fast paced “Jack's Blindfold” and the mid-paced “P.P.K.R”; a rhythmic, old-school Punkster with the talk-type vocalage of Siren right there in your face spitting anger and anarchy in the most intense form. Death Koolaid are among the heaviest, meanest, filthiest thing around in music today, sounding like 'The Plasmatics' on crack! Grab your chance to see this band in the smaller venues, as it will be a matter of time before Death Koolaid play the major festivals!"

DECA - Modulectron LP (Synthetic Shadows Rec.) 13,25 EUR
Deca's is a project of Federico De Caroli's, started in the early Eighties. He moved from the spacey and melodic style influenced by Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Cosmic Couriers to experimental sound, involving elements of industrial, noise, "musique concrete" and even Dark Ambient. His extensive discography ( vinyls, tapes and cd’s ) is the representation of his creative genius that makes Deca one of most interesting musicians in the world of electronic music. "Modulectron" is an anthology of unreleased material recorded between 1984-1986, a small jewel of Italian electronic music of the ‘golden age’.
As he says: “The artistic soul of a musician never dies, it hardly loses its spirit, actually, it is quite the contrary, and it can only grow with time: you can find new forms of inspiration, try new musical routes, mix new and old sounds together. The tracks of ‘Modulectron’ still feature the sound of my first pioneering tape recordings of 25 years ago”. Order this record right now!!! Only 400 copies available!

DECHE DANS FACE - Same 10" (Yakisakana Rec.) 10,00 EUR
It's primal and raw blues/punk at it`s BEST. Played by a guitar/drums duo who was active from '94? to 2000.
They did 3 singles and a 10" in the late nineties; One of the 7" was on Subpop (?!) with an OBLIVIANS cover (Jim Cole).

DEFECT DEFECT - Same LP (Taken By Surprise Rec.) 11,90 EUR
Fighting their way out of the basement comes Portland’s DEFECT DEFECT with their best record to date! After two quality EPs and constant touring, DEFECT DEFECT hit it just perfect with their catchy-as-hell melodic punk style that hits hard with Colin’s spastic and blunt vocal style with Adam’s excellent song writing. Tracks like Stolen Ground and Post Apocalypse are perfect bookends of this argent and essential LP. Featuring ex and current members of THE OBSERVERS, AUTISTIC YOUTH, THE MINDS, CLOROX GIRLS and the excellent ARCTIC FLOWERS this record will stick out over the pile of vinyl coming out in 2010. Do not miss out on this exciting band!

Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. black wax comes with deluxe silk-screened covers, silver artwork printed on thick black recycled/natural paper!!! 16,90 Euro
Debut longplayer by Pennsylvanian överkillers DELETIONS!! The Guys deliver an awesome as bloody hell, energy-laden mix of Synth-Punk / Noise Post-Punk / Garage-Punk! Alone the setup (real-life drums, guitar, synth and two singers) shows, that they don´t try to ride the overhyped minimal wave-train, but are heavily influenced by cool end-70s shit like LOS REACTORS, UNITS, FUTURISK etc and the two awesome covers of "Walking Skeletons" by BILLY SYNTH and "Electrical Generator" by CARDBOARDS are telling the rest of the story! Well, sort of - there´s definitely a pretty distinguished neo-garage sound in there, too. They don´t try to be nice and clean! They are real, they are ecstatic and their sound awakens memories of unforgotten treasures like LOST SOUNDS, DIGITAL LEATHER ("Sorcerer"-era), RIVER CITY TANLINES and the newly-created bands like TELEDROME or SGNLS. Fuck it, they are incredible!!!
The LP is limited to 300 copies, all versions come with deluxe silk-screened covers!!

DELIRIUM TREMENS - Presagio De Muerte 7" (La Vida Es Un Mus Rec.) 4,90 EUR
Rare Basque demo from 1984. 10 raging tracks of ugly hardcore punk similar to WRETCHED, RUIDO DE RABIA, EIZEN, TORTURA SISTEMATICA or early European bands of the play fast - no metal era. Totally unknown gem that remained literally unknown among Spanish Punk fanatics until a mere few years ago. Low-Fi recording of a raw abrasive sonic attack recorded in a bom-box. Not a friendly 80 reissue type but a sand-paper in the turntable one. WARNING. This recording sounds really RAW but GREAT!!!

DEMONS CLAWS - Same LP (Radio 81 Rec.) 17,90 EUR
We found handful copies of the Canadian-press from our friend at Radio 81 Rec. Pressed with the original P.Trash plates there in Canada!!! Only 500 copies are pressed! Comes with new cover art done by Chany of Inepsy.
From the ashes of bands like The CUT OFFS, SCAT RAG BOOSTERS and LES Météores, the DEMON'S CLAWS quickly became an important part of the Montreal garage scene together with BBQ and CPC GANGBANGS. They originally released this first lp here on P.Trash records in 2004 (recorded by Edouard Laroque). After touring the US and Europe, they've been rapidly related to this new psych-country-garage-punk wave along with The BLACK LIPS. Short after, they signed on In the Red label and released their excellent "Satan's little pet Pig" album, that is acclaimed one of the best garage album of 2006. This is your last chance!

DEMONS CLAWS - Same CD (Dead Canary Rec.) 13,00 Euro
Digital US-Version on the Bassholes Label. With dif. Sleeve-Artwork

DENNIS MOST AND THE INSTIGATORS - You Talkin' To Me CD (Red Lounge Rec.) 13,00 Euro
"You Talkin' To Me?" is compilation of all studio recordings by Dennis Most And Instigators from 1978-1983. Songs are put on CD in hronological way by different studios where the band recorded. This is top US kbd punk. Great sound quality from original analogue masters, without being remastered. Great raw fat sound I love - I hate remastering of old recordings. "I'm Not Dead Yet" are the newest recordings - new songs + new versions of old Instigators songs + 3 covers: "Teenage Head" (Flamin Groovies), "Down On The Street" (Stooges) and "Angela" (Pagans). As the title says, Dennis Most is not dead yet and he still rocks with the Instigators - maybe better than ever. Songs are in proto punk/punk style - somewhere between Stooges and Pistols with lot of US punk spices. Loud, dirty and very raw.

DEPRESSIVE STATE - Total Annihilation 7" (Destination Unknown / Thrash Bastard Rec.) 4,75 Euro
DEPRESSIVE SATE from Leipzig featuring members of SHUT THE FUCK UP, TANGLED LINES and SCREWED UP! Five pissed-off mid-tempo blasts of desperate hardcore-punk with crunchy guitars and cool melodies. This is for fans of MINOR THREAT and FUCKED UP! Highly recommended!

DERBY DOLLS - Same 7" (Erste Theke Tonträger Rec.) 5,20 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Get ready for a new DERBY DOLLS EP! When I first listened to the rough mixes I was thinking again, yes, that‘s tight! The 4 new songs come with German lyrics and a solid early NDW background, but with an amazing sound! You will love it! I don‘t know when this band had the time to write a new EP, because two of them are playing constantly with Hysterese. DERBY DOLLS are always the best happy thing between sweet pop and early Neue Deutsche Welle. With this new 4 Song EP they put some more snotty Midwestern Garage influences into their unique sound and they often remind me of Something Fierce, maybe it‘s the excellent bass sound or just the perfect songwriting?! The guitar lines are jangling and aggressive – but not in a testosteron way. And Helens voice is doing the rest. The debut 12“ (P.Trash / Erste Theke Tonträger Rec.) was sold out in a few months without the DERBY DOLLS having played one show. You should buy one of these little vinyl jewels and grab your own copy, because this is another unique piece of fine music, combining the power and the pop when it comes to punk.

DEREK LYN PLASTIC - Life And Death 7" (Certified PR / FDH Rec.) 5,75 EUR
Black Screened Sleeve, Ltd. 250 - When we heard the cuts from this EP, we immediately decided that we liked DEREK LYN PLASTIC. He sounds like what we originally expected MAC BLACKOUT of the DAILY VOIDS solo stuff to sound like. While Mac's stuff is generally poppier than DAILY VOID, DEREK LYN PLASTIC sounds like a DAILY VOID solo side project with way more grit, distortion, and hate - almost "Gacy's Place" style. The songs are actually pretty catchy, but the production is straight shit-fi. We consider that a good thing. Fans of DAILY VOID, HUMAN EYE, and MENTALLY ILL will totally dig this EP, especially if they haven't already formed an opinion about DEREK LYN PLASTIC - but if they have, they oughta give this 7" a listen before they wrongly pre-judge it... Haha... DEREK is also STEP DADS and P.Trash will release a STEP DADS 7" at the end of 2010!!!

DER FADEN - Same 7" (P.Trash 93) (Co-release with Dirt Cult Rec.)

Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. black wax comes with deluxe silk-screened covers, neon green colour printed to thick white paperboard! For P.Trash Club-members only! 9,90 Euro
It feels good to know that the string on which STATUES’ Rob’s feeling for killer tunes is dangling seems to be thick like the Incredible Hulk’s forearm. From the very first note on this here 7’’ you recognize how much you been missing the sweeping signature sound of this mutant of music. This time around, Rob is tag teaming up with the soon-to-be missus Sarah and keeps it in the family under the moniker of DER FADEN.
’Best Guess’ is an irresistible number with male and female vocals that takes the best of the STATUES’ catchiness and the TRANZMITORS’ danceable cool and throws in a guitar line you haven’t heard since EXTRABREIT’s ’Hurra Hurra die Schule brennt’.
The driving flipside ’Filaments’ is pure STATUES gold with a little pinch of 80s Wave, a DEVOesque guitarline and female vocal harmonies. Still critical, still concerned, still catchy and melodic as hell, this little glimpse of Rob’s current state of affairs will get easily through the narrow eye of any bored and resigned music lover’s needle. Let’s just hope that there is more family recording business going on down in the basement.

DERROTA - Asko Infinito LP (Trabuc Rec.) 10,50 EUR
After their split with LEADERSHIT and HÖRROR, DERROTA from Valencia deliever their 1st full-length release. Punk-rock influences, socio-political lyrics, punk attitude , DIY work, 18 pages booklet included with lyrics and translations into 4 languages…and I don’t know what else bullshit to write, fuck reviews. I’m sick of them. Buy or die!!!

DESTROY 110 - Die Bomben Sind Schon Längst Gefallen LP+CD (Fatal Injection Rec.) 13,75 EUR

DIAFRAMMA - Demos 1982 LP (Synthetic Shadows Rec.) 13,90 EUR
Diaframma were the best italian post punk band of the early 80's. They came from Florence, the city that was the most important center of new wave music of the period (see bands like Litfiba, Pankow, Neon, Moda, Polyactive, Karnak and many others...). In the wake of the English decadent dark-rock, strongly influenced by Joy Division, in 1982 they recorded their first single, "Pioggia/Illusione Ottica" (Italian Records) . The beautiful lyrics of the poet/guitarist Federico Fiumani push the group among the most popular on the italian scene of the time. Followed by the split 7", "Circuito Chiuso" (Free/Industrie Discografiche Lacerba-1982) and the Mlp "Altrove" (Contempo-1983), which confirm the remarkable ability of the quartet (Gianni Cicchi on drums, Leandro Cicchi on bass, Federico Fiumani on guitar and Nicola Vannini on vocals ). After several performances in clubs in the main italian venues, often together with Litfiba, and the removal of Vannini (replaced by Miro Sassolini), Diaframma recorded, in 1984 for the independent label IRA, 'Siberia', an album that sold 50,000 copies, a huge sales success for the band that continue to play, with various changing of music styles and line-up 'til now. This anthology contains different studio versions of their most famous tracks of the early days. If you are a fan of early UK post punk, you will be suprised to listen this AMAZING italian underground band. Limited edition to 500 copies + original 1982 poster of the band!!!

DIAGONALS - 5 Song MCD (Monofonus Press Rec.) 11,90 EUR
5 Song Mini-Album, comes with silkscreen cardboard sleeve!
The Diagonals slice an infectious cross between classic garage guitar jangle and Eighties underground dance beats. The quintet unloads more than their fair share of quirky anthems, and over the past year has solidified with a distinct sound that adds some welcome new textures to the familiar guitar and synth combination with their touches of surf licks and deadpan delivery.

DIALS - School Girl 7" (Secret Mission Rec.) 5,90 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
The latest from Secret Mission Records is a split release with the legendary Japanese label Mangrove. Continuing in the grand tradition of lo-fi garage punk from The Land of The Rising Sun is the brand new 7”, their second to date, from Mito, Japan’s DIALS. Even though the obvious and may be a bit lazy comparison to the great bands that came before them, such as the mighty Teengenerate and the fab Registrators is not out of place, it’s the tunes on this baby that make us flip with joy and make us look to the current and, perhaps, to the future!!! Nervous is a guitars-forward rocker, dressed in tight drumming and booming bass. And to assure that you won’t sit still they throw in hand claps a-plenty, which (in the perfect world) turns it in to something you can shake your money maker to. Next up is School Girl, a great punk rock & roll number that’s a little faster and a little grimier. Super catchy! This record comes in a slick hand screened jacket.
Only 200 copies are available for US distro include a few going to P.Trash for Europe and 300 going to Japan! PRE-ORDER NOW OR CRY ABOUT IT LATER!!!

DIÄT - Positive Energy LP (Punk & Destroy Rec.) 16,90 EUR
Super rare Japan Edit.!!! Very few in stock!
Brought together by a shared enthusiasm for bleak UK punk and a history of playing in hardcore bands, Berlin based DIÄT have created a sound that they have described, perhaps not entirely seriously, as ‘tough new wave’. Fans of CRISIS, KILLINGN JOKE and of today's NERVOSAS, DYSCONTROL should be pleased by the band’s unlikely synthesis of depressive drift and cranked, accelerated energy. Recorded last Winter while huddled in a practice space overlooking the industrial landscape of frozen East Berlin, the album finds Diät reining in the threads of malignant enthusiasm still peppered throughout their earlier recordings to focus on the cynicism and dejectedness that binds them as a band. Intending to create an album that showcases each song individually and plays out like a mixtape, Diät have boldly attempted to create a sound of their own - the sound of checking your account balance to see if you’ve been paid yet…but you haven’t.

DIE ERSTEN MENSCHEN - Apocalypse Now & Then LP (Bachelor Rec.) 11,50 EUR
As you can easily bear in mind, we get a lot of demos sent, and there are a lot of people who write in to tell us about this or that band... and I dont remember who wassit, but somehow we we stumbled upon some songs of a band called DIE ERSTEN MENSCHEN and we liked the two songs. No one was familiar with this band and of course they didnt have a release out by then, so we pulled few strings and, well, they were kinda ok when BACHELOR offered to do a 7" somewhen in future. What followed was a year of silence, nuthing, nada. Then we read some articles about their few live appearances. What can I say, they really got some buzz... about their off stage antics and more important about their music. After punkrock yellow press blew up second hand info and hear-say to a look-what-they've-done campaign our three lads crawled back into their cave to record this 13 song debut record, a raw and breathtaking 60s garage monster which made us literally drool. They said they want Tim Warren / Crypt Records to put them songs in shape a bit, to marginally polish them. We asked him, knowing that he only does things he really likes.... and he DID master the full album over one weekend!
Now, as I type this I'm listening the debut record of DIE ERSTEN MENSCHEN and I can tell you, we are so proud to have this incredible garage rocker pressed on red and black vinyl, with a BACHELOR stamp on it! If you have the slightest interest in series like TEENAGE SHUTDOWN or BACK FROM THE GRAVE you get crazy for this. If you have records of bands like (early) BLACK LIPS, HYPSTRZ, HENTCHMEN and such and like to play them over and over - DIE ERSTEN MENSCHEN are the thing you should ask for in your records shoppe. Their sound is a bit like before mentioned bands, just give them a blend of wylder 60s combos and plant this seed into first class Crypt Records soil from circa 1993... Don't expect this to be your ordinary BFTG copycat band dressed in hipster garment.

DIE PRINCESS DIE - Self-titled LP (Rococo Rec.) (black wax ltd to 400 Edit.) 12,90 EUR
DIE PRINCESS DIE - Self-titled LP (Rococo Rec.) (pink wax ltd to 100 Edit.) 16,75 EUR
"Featuring ex-members of Camera Obscura, Freedom From Saturn, and Radio Wendy. A towering wall of sick, invisible sound so loud it flaps your pant legs and shakes your teeth loose from their shiny pink gums. Their sound is big, thick, loud, and dense. It's tough to tell where the guitars end and the bass begins. "From the dark-electro intro songÂ…to the end of the album, this CD is filled with all sorts of fun moody noise that can go from making you dance to making you go into a corner where you curl up into a ball and weep." - No-Fi Magazine)

DIE RÖTZZ - You're Black And Blue LP (Racer Rec.) 17,90 EUR
What a KILLER!!! We are happy to have some copies for our buyers, Highly Recommended!!! Antigravity zine calling: If you didn’t know any better and you heard this record, you’d think Die Rötzz were a bunch of angry youngsters rather than the old coots they are in real life (at least in punk years). 11 songs from Die Rötzz’s decade of putrid existence cram this 12” (played at 45 rpm), their first “album” as a band. In all that time they haven’t fucked with the formula, either: snotty, ripping 3 piece punk that could give a fuck about your feelings. Songs like “Livin on Trash” and “Tombstone Bullets” make me want to skate the A&P on Vets and throw old Taco Bell out of a car window at passing joggers. The best part of this LP is the banter captured between drummer Paul Artigues and guitarist Andy Goceljak; if you’ve ever been to a Die Rötzz show, you know that’s where the flavor happens. —DanFox

DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS - Real Hard Time (Europe-Tour Part 2) 7" (P.Trash 82) (co-release with Timmeheiehumme Rec.)
Limd. 250 "Regular P.Trash" red wax! 5,20 Euro
Limd. 250 "Regular Timmeheiehumme" green wax! 5,20 Euro
Limd. 100 P.Trash Club Edit. comes as a Do-Tour 7"es package with deluxe silk-screened covers, olive green / red / metallic silver print! 12,90 Euro
This year marks the 9th Birthday of Melbourne’s favourite two-piece garage-trash band DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS. That’s right, they’ve almost hit the double digits. Geez…who would have thought that what started off as a bit of a joke by two mates looking for a reason to drink free beer and try to meet girls in their hometown, would take Sam and Andy to all corners of the globe across four continents.
The DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS of 2012 is vastly different to that of 2003. Although their live set still features songs from their very first songwriting session, the boys themselves have changed. Whilst age has not wearied them, it hasn't been kind to them either. Yes, they are no longer Young, Tight and Alright. But they aren't the slightest bit perturbed to be carrying a few grey hairs and a bit of extra weight, they still have a thirst for the stage, a love for each other and a desire to keep on writing and performing music the world over.
With a back catalogue brimming with five albums, eight 7”s, a 10” and an EP, DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS return with two new 7” singles to be released through German labels P. Trash and Timmeheiehumme. To celebrate the band are putting their adult contemporary lives on hold and getting in the van for an 18 shows in 18 days tour of Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Expect suicidal rock moves, bad jokes and immature songs, not to mention the smell of gig clothes that live in a plastic bag in the back of the van that don’t get washed until the final show. Not bad for a couple of thirty something fellas from Australia.
So you better be ready - DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS are taking the Wrong Way To The Top and they need you to buy them a beer and help them on their merry way. Surely, you at least feel just a little bit sorry for them. Go check out one of their shows and buy their new records.
You see the back cover for each of the two Tour-7"s. When they sit side by side, you can see the words "digger" and "pussy" running through the artwork to make it join up like the puzzle!
And just so that you know, the girl on the motorbike holding up the dead snake is Andys daughter's granny back in the 1970's.... no joke, you see the "desert-garage-punk" in her gene!!!.

DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS - Better Listen Up Good (Europe-Tour Part 1) 7" (P.Trash 81) (co-release with Timmeheiehumme Rec.)
Limd. 250 "Regular P.Trash" yellow wax! 5,20 Euro
Limd. 250 "Regular Timmeheiehumme" blue wax! 5,20 Euro
Limd. 100 P.Trash Club Edit. comes as a Do-Tour 7"es package with deluxe silk-screened covers, olive green / red / metallic silver print! 12,90 Euro
Hey y'all, Andy from DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS here. Head P.Trash honcho asked me to write something to promote our two new 45s out on P.Trash Records and Timmeheiehumme Records. What can I say? We're just a dumb-arse rock and roll band who have aged considerably since our first P.Trash Record way back in 2005. Our waistlines and man-boobs have developed, but our music has not. We haven't tried to re-invent the wheel with these new tracks, but they're definitely Digger songs that could easily slip onto any of our previous albums/singles. If you like the band you'll like the songs. If you don't like us, then save your money for the next P.Trash/Timmeheiehumme release, which will probably be a whole lot better than these two singles.
What do the new songs sound like? Consider it rock and roll with a bit of shabang! Moronic lyrics feature in the two songs I sing. The two songs that Sam sings have slightly more intelligent lyrics, but not by much. Lyrical subject matter includes being taught by your father how to seduce women in the same way that he seduced your mother / taking a trip to Italy and being fortunate enough to find yourself at a Bunga Bunga party at Berlusconi's house / following Jesus' wishes to do unto others' bodies as you would have them do unto your own body / having inappropriate relations with your best friend's sister and hoping the he'll still let you stay at his holiday house.
You see the front cover for each of the two Tour-7"s. When they sit side by side, you can see the words "digger" and "pussy" running through the artwork to make it join up like the puzzle!
The artwork was done by Vanessa Imberger and features my daughter's Grandmother in a bikini on a motorbike holding up a dead snake that she killed with a shovel. True story. Now if that ain't Australian, I don't know what is? We're all Crocodile Hunters down here. We're about to come over on tour too, so check out our dates on facebook and let's have a beer at a show somewhere near you. And if you don't like us, you can come down and bash us in the toilets…but only if you buy both of these new records.

After a successfully touring the US of A (where they played a historic show at the GONER Festival, where the swept the other bands off the stage) and a tour through Asia, Andy and Sam from Melbourne/Australia will come back to make the German fans sweat again this spring.
To support their ''Let's go to hospital'' 2008 Tour, P.TRASH also releases ''Bad reception'', a selection of ten songs recorded live-to-air in a radio show called ''Muscle Souls'' in their hometown by Spooky Records owner Loki Lockwoood (who also recorded all of their other stuff) in September 2007. In raw and distorted, yet brilliantly recorded sound quality, the duo unleashes ''I want you'' and ''All time low'' from their Squooge 7'' ''Pussy Sandwich'', ''Motorbike'' from their first LP ''Young, tight & alright'', ''Fashion victim'', ''Sergi'' and a long, extended version of ''Thanks a lot'' from the ''Watch yr' back'' LP, as well as the new songs ''Liar, liar'', ''ASIO'', ''Oh yeah'' and ''I'm so bored with you'' from their upcoming album, in front of a small and enthusiastic crowd.

The two cats from the Oz do it to us again, this time on their own with two long grooves on each side of this new longplaying gemstone that are cut into ten awesome chunks of genuine DIGGER Garage Rock'n'Roll to chew your mouths off on. While the former record dealt a lot with rocked-down backs and hospital beds, this one is about still going on with a chosen lifestyle and all its highs and lows.
Starting off with the fast broken love overture ''Never looked the same'' and telling us how some things never change, they turn to the honest guilty plea in ''Dirtbag'' before taking it off in the shaking IGGY&THE STOOGES ''Raw Power''-era styled ''Chinatown'', rocking and rolling in the simple and brilliant ''A-holic'', a Rock'n'Roll attack of sex, booze and drugs, before closing this groove with the catchy poverty serenade ''Breadline''.
New groove, same story! ''What's it to you'' is the answer to selling out to a more mellow life, in the snappy stomper ''Red hair'' they're telling us about how they got on the lost Punkrock-Highway in high school they turn to their melodic mid-tempo sound in ''Bobby Fisher Blues'' and the Überhit ''My famous friends'' before ending with the conclusion of what it is all about: ''All my friends are having babies'' they're buying houses and Mercedes!
This punky Distortion-Fest about keeping keeping-on only leaves one answer: There's no quitting! No surrender! It's not over yet for DIGGER & THE PUSSY CATS!
Make sure to see them again on European stages now!

Good ole' Sam of the infamous Australian Garage Rock'nRoll duo DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS should have better watched his back while shakin' this guitar onstage like a rabid crocodile. Then again, this new album called ''Let's go to hospital'' probably wouldn't have turned out the way it has.
This is wild, soulfoul and dirty Rock'n'Roll with a fuckin' backbone! Ten more scratching tunes stuffed with anger, smut and lust.
You get your fill of shaking DIRTBOMBS-like Detroit sound in ''ASIO'', ''Liar Liar'' and the extremely danceable ''Cut you loose'' and ''Kept man'', you stagger through a drunk and horny night in ''Oh yeah'' and crawl like a dog in ''I want to be your slut'', infected with slower WIPERS-parts and a good dose of OBLIVIANS overdrive.
In between, the two Aussies blast out the unapologetic punk tune ''I'm so bored with you'' that reminds of old LEWD topped with a brutal and ear-battering MUDHONEY feedback orgy. In more than one occasion, Sam let's his guitar howl in a way that would have made JIMI HENDRIX turn to a lighter shade. To surprise the astonished listener, at the end of the album, they placed the two sweet and sugary pop-punk tunes ''What you say, what you do'' and ''Let's go to hospital'', that THE STATUES or THE TRANZMITORS definitely couldn't have done better.
DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS neither backed nor slowed down a bit on this catchy and tight new platter, which comes in a colourful comic-style sleeve done by LLUIS.

DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS - Young, Tight & Allright LP (Beast Rec.) 10,90 EUR
re-press of their amazing and long sold out 1st LP.
Indeed, these guys are also "Young, Tight and Alright" on their so-titled first album which, although paled by what follows, still manages to hold up in its own right. Again, don't expect a commitment to authenticity (whatever that is) in the current wav of Bent Blues. This is raucous garage-punk played by two guys at rehearsals while waiting for the rest of their band to turn up. Only problem is, the rest of the band isn't going to show - and the non-timewasters are totally pissed off and of a mind to take it our on their gear!
"Stop Breaking Down" is a corrupted take on the Robert Johnson original. DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS don't so much sell their soul to the devil as pawn it at some St Kilda second-hand store for a foil of cheap meth. Nowhere near as bent out of shape as the version by the DIM STARS but still adequately enough removed from the original to make an impression.
Where things really take a detour into feedback and mayhem is the title track, less than a minute-and-a-half of feedback that leads perfectly into the nasty-sound "History of Adultery". In fact, the longer this album goes on the more fractured and fucked-up it becomes. "Save Yourself" and " I Got a Lover" get into some nice down-and-dirty grooves, while the closer "Stab a Motherfucker" sounds like its title!
We help Beast Records to distribute the LP around the world, so distros feel free to ask us here at P.Trash for wholesale-deals!!!

DIGITAL LEATHER - All Faded LP (Full Trash 123) (Co-release with FDH Rec.)
Limd. 500 "Regular" FDH Edit. black wax fixed into standard sleeves! 19,90 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. black wax with deluxe silk-screened covers! 21,90 Euro
DIGITAL LEATHER has been serving up a steady diet of heavy synth driven dark pop for years. We are very excited to announce that they worked with FDH / P.Trash records once again for the new album "All Faded".
All faded blasts through 11 tracks in just over a half hour. 5 people making heavy, synth-forward music. They use a lot of Moogs. Shawn Foree began DIGITAL LEATHER as a one-man bedroom thing in Arizona, releasing records on a ton of labels (Fat Possum, P.Trash, Goner, FDH, Volar, etc). After relocating to Omaha Nebraska a band formed. They toured around and as a band DIGITAL LEATHER recorded All Faded. It’s the first album with a full band. The record sounds huge in comparison to the earlier efforts. Big drums, thick bass, great guitars, and of course biting synth-leads courtesy of The Faint’s Todd Fink.
Torment, darkness and hangovers fuel All Faded. But does that make it a downer? All Faded is cohesive. It’s undoubtedly DIGITAL LEATHER'S best record. A new page for a band reborn. They will take you into the future with them. Baptized in the vibration of a thousand LFOs.

DIGITAL LEATHER - Sorcerer CD (Goner Rec.) 10,90 EUR
In 2002 DIGITAL LEATHER were two young men playing keyboards: DL Mastermind Shawn Foree and Ryan Wong (DESTRUCTION UNIT, TOKYO ELECTRON, REATARD). Electronic karate chops and drill sergeant drum simulators created fuzzed out synth punk at warehouse punk shows to punk rock kids that hated keyboards and hated DIGITAL LEATHER. They then had their faces melted. Several similar shows played a role, directly or indirectly, in shaping an underground music revolution.
Flash forward several years – and DIGITAL LEATHER has become a shape shifting force in the new "it" genre of synth punk. With a handful of sold out singles and LPs under his leather jock strap, Shawn Foree is now preparing his magic wand for the masses. He's traded his synthesizer for a guitar, and Ryan Wong for a full band. He's still recording songs himself in a bedroom in Arizona. He brings his band and the a disc of recordings to Memphis, TN for Gonerfest 2, then drops a sonic A bomb of a set at the Buccaneer Lounge in the middle of the afternoon. Luckily it is all captured on multi-track by a crack guerilla recording team. Home recordings from that time become Side A to SORCERER; Side B is the live recording. Layered synthetic sounds come together with stark beats and dry vocals to create a lonely mechanical epic that reminds us of man's impending doom. Chillingly delicate and abrasively aggressive, SORCERER masterfully negotates the spaces between minimal electronic music and ferocious synth punk.
All songs by Shawn Foree except “Hologram” by The Urinals
Side One:
Shawn Foree: All instruments, vocals
Devon Disaster: Vocals on “You Will Fall”
Side Two:
Rusty Rousseau: Synth
Steve Sleaze: Guitar
Ryan Wong: Drums
Shawn Foree: Synth/ Vocals

DIKLOUD - Seven Fleas Tape (Phantom Rec.) 5,90 EUR
Apart from the bonus acoustic tracks at the end here, this is seven songs of driven punk rock from Dresden. It's kept me company on a few runs this week and is on the melodic, urgent and energetic side of things with a healthy dose of emo thrown in for good measure - the odd bit of plaintive guitar and talky vocals appears here and there and even the bit where they all sing on the intro to "Dompteur" is more like that bit in "Submerge" by Life At These Speeds than your standard punk rock gang vocal. It's kind of hard to pigeonhole and delves into post hardcore at times but here and there I also hear bits of The Nation Blue and even that Ship Thieves record from earlier this year (pick slides anyone?). Apparently this was actually their first release back in 2012 and is getting the cassette treatment now.

DIMI DERO INC. - Cremation Day In The Court Of Miracles LP (Beast Rec.) 11,90 EUR
Highly recommanded to every fan of The Scientists, Beasts of Bourbon, Drones (DDInc. is Gareth Liddiard’s “favourite European band since Einsturzende Neubauten”), Radio Birdman, New Christs (this record's produced by ROB YOUNGER!). DIMI DERO Inc. are now touring Australia and it seems that, according to some fresh reviews, "Cremation Day..." is a great album (check www.ravemagazine.com.au and www.i94bar.com).

DIRTBOMBS - Ooey Gooey Chewy Ka-blooey! LP (In The Red Rec.) 17,90 EUR
For about a decade now, Dirtbombs frontman Mick Collins has threatened that the band’s next release would be their “bubblegum album.” After a couple of records of mostly originals, a compilation of singles and an album of Detroit techno covers, one might have suspected that the concept either fell by the wayside or was a farce to begin with. Well, at long last, here is Ooey Gooey Chewy Ka-Blooey. It’s understandable to assume that a bubblegum record by The Dirtbombs would be cover versions by groups like the 1910 Fruitgum Company, The Ohio Express and The Archies. After all, the band already has two albums of cover songs under their belt which salute specific genres. That is not the case in this instance. Mick Collins wrote ten new tracks which pay homage to the sound and style originally popularized in the late ’60s / early ’70s by producers / exploiters like Kasenetz-Katz and Don Kirschner. While the usual Dirtbombs’ double-drums, fuzzy guitars and soulful swagger are present, Ooey Gooey is sugary, sunshiny pop rock that recalls Josie & the Pussycats, the Banana Splits and Lancelot Link & the Evolution Revolution, to name but three. It’s all sing-along choruses, childlike themes and a contrived innocence—not the kind of record one would’ve predicted from a guy who once fronted The Gories. The original bubblegum music was a cash-in produced on an assembly-line using studio musicians and hired songwriters, who dashed out the stuff as quickly as possible and most likely forgot about it even quicker. While The Dirtbombs adhere to some of this original approach by using a list of guest musicians so long there wasn’t room to credit them on the album cover, Ooey Gooey Chewy Ka-Blooey is actually a carefully crafted work almost two years in the making.

DIRTBOMBS - Scion A/V Remix 12" (Scion Rec.) 17,90 EUR
On this EP some Detroit pioneers are gathered by the label Scion Audio/Visual. This pure Detroit EP presents legend Omar S who reinterpretated the hit ‘Sharivari’ of the Detroit Rock’n Roll Band ‘The Dirtbombs’. Dirtbombs’ voices bark ‘Sharivari’ into obstreperous, raw 808 sounds including the nasty guitar motive of the original that percectly fits into Omar S’ sound. It is unmistakable here. Ectomorph gives a futuristic remix of Jaguar. Hypnotic with its slow guitar ostinato. Bug In The Bassbin is remixed by Kyle Hall, a distorted track with a distanced bassline and characteristic offbeats of the percussion that is actually wandering from one ear to another. With the Sharevari Original Dirtbombs Version this release ends up sucessfully : A Garage Rock track with a pinch of discoelements, dirty and powerful.

DISCONVENIENCE - Umea Punk City CD (Dirty Faces Rec.) 12,50 EUR
DISCONVENIENCE from Umea plays catchy UK82 style of music. Were bands as REGULATIONS and VICIOUS have looked over to US for insperation, or when TRISTESS and KNUGEN FALLER looked at Sweden, DISCONVENIENCE looked at UK. DISCONVENIENCE - War On Wankers 7" (Wasted Sounds Rec.) 4,90 Euro
Back in stock, LAST COPIES!!! This debute 7" "War on wankers" were quickly picked up in many toplist after it's release... You can hear that they have developed since the last demo "Bombs Away". This is more RAW riot grrrl-punk and I love it! This three piece reminds me of BIKINI KILL first, mixed in with the AVENGERS second, and PENETRATION third. There´s 5 tracks on this 7" vinyl and they are called "Out of My Mind", "War on Wankers", "Perfect Defect", "Riot" and "Slightly Nazi". The songs are pretty short and still in the perfect 1977-style recording with absolutely fantastic guitar work!!! Some bandmembers just start their new band THE EPIDEMICS!!

DIVIDED MINDS - Strangers 7" (Doomtown / Crapoulet Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Debut vinyl release from the frantic Zagreb city punk trio. This little fucker delivers four memorable mid-tempo songs of highly energetic and nervous herky-jerky punk rock, sounding like a cross of traditional 77 KBD punk and early 80's melodic hardcore played by the ZERO BOYS and most RIKK AGNEW'S bands. The "Strangers" EP is all about good ol' punk riffs, played with passion and blended with perfectly fitting snotty vocals, so if you dig old fashioned punk rock with a modern touch, you definitely need this piece of wax.

DOCTOR SCIENTIST - Prehistoric Times LP (Full Trash 55)
Limd. 230 regular edition 12,90 Euro
Limd. 100 Edit. packed in a silkscreen see-through bag!, with an artwork of the old german movie "Metropolis"! For P.Trash Club-members only! 15,90 Euro
DOCTOR SCIENTIST - Prehistoric Times CD (Digital Trash 11) 12,50 Euro
Post-apocalyptic screams, blips, and guitars thrash their way into a burnt-out landscape of digital future-past. Where dance beats and laser guns are one and the same, and where both aid in battling the warlords, robocops, and dinosaurs roaming the refuse of our cities and towns.
Such is the weird world that the Philadelphia-based band, DOCTOR SCIENTIST, has offered its loyal listeners since 2007's this changes everything. Now, with 2010's "Prehistoric Times", that world is made both more prehistoric, more apocalyptic, and somehow both more brutal and more danceable. The band's fourth member, the robot, has taken a holiday to 808ville and has come back from vacation with the some of the most beastly beats and drum loops available to human ears. Adding bass guitar unto the barrage of these beats, guitar shreds, and curdled android howls gives "Prehistoric Times" a fuller, more enveloping sound. DOCTOR SCIENTIST’s odd electronic world now seems that much closer, as these songs throw listener's right into the thick of a digital battlefield. The two singers shriek over and along with each other, and allow for a dynamic call to arms made triumphantly complete with hardcore style breakdowns, marching barks of command, and even a few moments of metal edge. Think KRAFTWERK in the mosh pit, or West Coast synthpunk with a violent, unhealthy addiction to GORILLA BISCUITS from the year 3030. A must have for those who want to make ready for the maniacal end of the new world - or the fuming, dancing, brutal beginning of an old one!!!

DOCTOR SCIENTIST / OCTAGON CONTROL - Split 7" (FDH Rec.) 5,00 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! FDH Records has another winner on its hands. The independent Philadelphia-based label has released a solid roster of scintillating synthesizer-laden garage punk in the last few years, including Jay Reatard’s TERROR VISIONS, DIGITAL LEATHER’s amazing “Blow Machine” LP and the stellar DESTRUCTION UNIT/ BLACK SUNDAY split LP.
The latest release is a limited edition split seven-inch featuring Bellingham’s OCTAGON CONTROL and Philadelphia’s DOCTOR SCIENTIST. These bands are just about as underground as it gets: raw, raspy and overlain with a sheen of automated gloom and despair that is the mark of the best electronic music.
DOCTOR SCIENTIST claims the A-side with four screaming synth-punk numbers that feature a melding of shredded vocals and chirpy – almost poppy – keyboards. They’re like the SCREAMERS recast for a more melodic, multi-tasking era.
The OCTAGON CONTROL side features two equally impressive songs. Slithering and ominous, a little more free form than DOCTOR SCIENTIST, this band hooked me immediately with “Davey Crotchhitch,” which is slow and dirge-like, with vocals that echo like cries from a gas chamber. The band’s second cut, “Hedz R Guna Roll” takes off at a breakneck pace, sounding like a desperate tumble down a spiral staircase. Rising to a feverish keyboard-induced finale, the song ends with a lurch, leaving you wanting more.

DOPAMINES - Vices LP (It's Alive Rec.) 13,90 EUR
Ohio melodic pop punkers The Dopamines release their rad new album Vices. And if you’ve never listened to the Dopamines before, get on that now. Pop punk in the vein of the Copyrights and Dear Landlord, with plenty of cues from the early 90’s Lookout Records catalog. This album would be be right at home alongside Kerplunk and Our Bodies Our Selves. And maybe Wiggle? No, probably more like My Brain Hurts or Anthem for a New Tomorrow.
Vices finds the Dopamines in a tough position. Their last full length album, 2010’s Expect the Worst, was incredibly well received by the punk community at large, being full of alcohol-soaked tunes that were raw and jaded for the punks, and melodic enough for the pop punk kids to also get behind it. So how exactly does a band release a follow up to one of the strongest punk albums of the century so far?

DOTS - 6 Songs Cassette (Bloodstain Rec.) 6,90 EUR
Europe exclusive distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
CHILDISH punk rock that brings to mind The AUTHORITIES or ANGRY SAMOANS. Crazy back-up vocal crooning, weird noisy bass lines, one finger piano parts, obscene lyrics, sloppy performance, this has all the makings of a Killed By Death classic with out being any kind of rip off. One of these clowns played in OUT WITH A BANG, so there ya go. 100 copies.

DOWNTOWN BOYS - Same 7" (Drunken Sailor Rec.) 5,90 EUR
Providence, Rhode Island’s DOWNTOWN BOYS may not be a household name, even in most punk houses, but they should be. The six-piece utilizes highly danceable manic punk blasts as a soapbox for their confrontational but heartfelt radical political screeds. The self-billed “bilingual political sax dance punk party” draws many influences together to create something that sounds familiar enough to pull you onto its frantic wavelength, but refreshing enough to keep you there. One might detect hints of THE FALL, BIKINI KILL, as much as the obvious comparison, X RAY SPEX, who DOWNTOWN BOYS share more in common with sonically than simply a saxophone and female singer.

DRAKULAS - Raw Wave LP (Dirtnap Rec.) 19,90 EUR
Germany distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Drakulas present Raw Wave. Raw Wave is a collection of songs told from the different points of view of various characters in a fictional metropolis in our not too distant past. A bustling city center not unlike Times Square in the 70's filled with sin and sex is the backdrop where gangs, street preachers, sex addicts, pimps, prostitutes and pornographers live and work. People of this world describe the time period of these songs as the Raw Wave. A wave of new analog technology that hit the city wiping away many of the mores and pretense of the past.
Drakulas are from Austin, TX and feature members of Riverboat Gamblers and Rise Against, among others. This is their debut LP, following a 7” on Red Scare. This pretty much nails the sound the Texas branch of the extended Dirtnap family is infamous for. Vibrant, high energy, and dangerously catchy, Raw Wave is tailor-made for fans of The Marked Men, The Dickies, and vintage-era Riverboat Gamblers/High Tension Wires, with a killer recording by Mark Ryan and Jeff Burke at Cool Devices Studio in Ft. Worth, TX. And then there’s the lyrics, high-concept/low-brow weirdness that could only have come from the twisted mind of Gamblers frontman Mike Wiebe. Call it a super-group if you must, but don’t call it a side-project.

DRAMAMINE - Debut LP (Sabotage Rec.) 10,90 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! DRAMAMINE is the new german "Super-group" from Münster/Germany which featuring members of PRESS GANG, IDLE HANDS. DRAMANINE is loud, noisy, with a certain pop-affinity, minimalistic, but in the very next second pretentious, doomy and oozing with pathos. A heavy, deep bass; guitars, which you will find hard to classify; a krauty drumming - all this put together with resentful, hectic & melancholic vocals, which will finally leave you asking for more. DRAMAMINE doesn't sound like an intersection of PRESS GANG or IDLE HANDS, etc.. more like early SST, Touch And Go or Amphetamine Reptile Records noise bands. It's 2010, and you might think that the creative reservoir of noisy and drugged guitar music has been exhausted for a long time now: DRAMAMINE prove you wrong! LPs come with digital MP3 download coupon.

DRAMAMINE - Emphasis 7" (Narshardaa Rec.) 4,90 Euro

Be prepared for some killer record, guess you are, aren't you ?

DRAMAMINE – Green Horse LP (This Charming Man Rec.) 11,90 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! PRESS GANG / IDLE HANDS-members do it again! After their self titled debut album and a vinyl single called »Emphasis« DRAMAMINE are back to present their newest effort entitled »GREEN HORSE«. Even on their first record they had already found their very own sound, but still they grew more mature on the single that followed. To the surprise of the listener this respectable development now gains a new quality as these mid-twens are taking several steps forward in many different directions at the same time. »GREEN HORSE« is a collection of eleven pieces that prove both the band's progressive thinking and their awareness of history; the songs bring together noise and pop without ever making one half seem like a foreign body – the symbiosis sounds completely natural. The most notable development – besides the distinct enlargement that went along with the adding of a second guitar – can be found in the vocals: A specific quality of DRAMAMINE always used to be the interaction of the instruments and the overall sound that was always more than the sum of the parts. Now their singer Marcel Feige has reinvented his singing completely and finds his space in the band's very own sound. Overall, the songs developed more different directions. You’ll find the old Dramamine hectic, the drive and the passion but also a noisier and more experimental attempt. There are even meditative moments, combined with repetitive drum-rhythms and melodic soundscapes. The story behind the recording process is probably as exciting as the musical progression: The band took over an old factory building in the middle of nowhere for ten days to record with their favourite producer Christoph Bartelt. In the documented resonance of the factory, captured with a whole battalion of room microphones, you can hear the largeness of the hall in which the sound could unfold freely. Matured, but not aged – DRAMAMINE created a record that restores the grandeur of black vinyl. The record comes out in a limited pressing run of 500 pieces.

DRUGS DRAGONS - (I'm In A) Braingrave 7" (Self-released / Dusty Medical Rec.) 5,50 EUR
280 sided vinyl with screenprinted custom artwork covers- all different)
DRUGS DRAGONS was formed in the Spring of 2009 from the ashes of Milwaukee's NIGHT TERRORS. Gaining lead vocalist Luke Chappelle, best known for his visual art and one half of Milwaukee booking/DJ duo THE GET DRUNK, along with his brother Zach on bass, the group was rounded out with the inimitable Tony Sagger on guitar and backing vocals and Eric Mildew on drums. Like previous Tony Sagger musical projects, Drugs Dragons carries a violent, menacing, primal vibe undercut with retarded, resin-caked humor and hairy, beer-breathed testosterone. However this band is a whole new beast for different times, pioneering a weird, hard rock sound in an ocean of Jangly Cliched Pop, Boring Bedroom Noodlings, and Withering Garage Nonsense that the current state of underground rock n' roll languishes in. Reminiscent of the Testors knocking back shots with AC/DC and early GG ALLIN, or BLACK SABBATH sharing a joint with BAUHAUS and the BUTTHOLE SURFERS through a codeine haze, Drugs Dragons encapsulates a wide spectrum of bad attitude rock n roll while sounding both new and timeless. This debut 7” was recorded by fellow Milwaukeean Ben Kastner of power-pop band Bored Games, was mastered by Justin Perkins, and features hand- made artsy- fartsy packaging guaranteed to gum-up the inside of any discerning record collector's pants.

DRUGSTOP - Riot In The Jailhouse CD (Digital Trash 08) 12,00 Euro
While their previous 7inches showed the band's commitment to the sonic discharge of the DWARVES and ACTION SWINGERS, the three gentlemen from the North of Germany tread on an even faster and all-out path with their first full-length record The majority of the 16 songs are peppered with the rage and mean power of early 80s US-Hardcore.
Songs like ''Riot in the jailhouse'', ''Everybody's on drugs today'', ''No company'' or ''War in my head'' are jerked out fast and with a cold hand, while keeping the rock hard. Taking POISON IDEA's speedy riffing and rocking attitude mixed with a fucked-up necessity to spill out some guts, the boys meet with CAREER SUICIDE and the BRUTAL KNIGHTS in a greasy public toilet. But of course you also get some of their roots music here with songs like ''Useless'', ''I wish I was pissed'' or the new version of ''I need a drink'' in the ACTION SWINGERS/DWARVES vein and there's even a stomping MONSTERS-like Psychobilly-Trasher on board.
Packed in a full-color cardboard sleeve with artwork by Fritte, this record is like a stab wound in a cop's chest. Let the riot begin!

A record like one of those you used to dub on tape and listened to on a stroll underneath a concrete sky in your industrial town. And while you looked up the grey tower buildings surrounding you, you suddenly felt the darkness crushing in on you. And your sadness went along with your anger and you took a look inside the windows and the music just screamed inside you.
And for a moment you just forgot everything you lacked and you just felt good. DYSCONTROL from Halifax/Canada (the new band of David Brown of CAREER SUICIDE) have captured this old feeling on their first full length, a record that makes you stomp and shiver. The dry and direct sound of the songs really define what is so excessively used under the monicker of Post-Punk these days.
There are the WIPERS and MISSION OF BURMA influenced mid-tempo creepers "Common threat", "Problem solution" or "Conductor" with their anthemic bass lines and choruses. But there are also the faster "Somnambulist" or "End of days" that sound like late 80 UK Punks CRISIS and songs like "Where you live" and "On my side" that will remind you of the STATUES in their darker mood.
All over this record there is this certain feeling of aggressive melancholia that reaches you deep down, grabs you and does not let you go. A record you definitely do not want to live without anymore. Mastered by Rob Seaton of the STATUES.
