WANKYS, THE - The Very Best Of Hero LP (La Vida Es Un Mus Rec.) 11,50 EUR
THE WANKYS, who claim to be from Kyushu Island, UK (actually they are from Leicester) surprised all of us last year with their already classic NOISE PUNK EP released on Noise and Distortion Label. This Album is not a release that anyone is likely to feel indifferent about; it's far to over the top for that! It has horrible screeching vocals, plodding driving bass, fucked-up sounding drums and insanely distorted guitars. Can you imagine Disorder and Confuse having a glue-sniffing session and the survivors picking up some instruments and heading off to a studio? Have you ever had a mental picture of early Swankys and early Chaos UK competing against each other over who has the nosiest guitar sound? Probably the only band from outside of Japan that has accurately emulated the Kyushu/Bristol sound, this album has already been hailed as a modern day classic and has set the standard in the new sub-genre of Punk that is now known as "NOISE PUNK". A must for Fans of GAI, CONFUSE, DISORDER early SWANKYS or CHAOS CH and a NO for melody fans.

WAR BABY - Jesus Horse LP (Full Trash 117) (Co-release with Bummer Rec.)
Limd. 500 "Regular" P.Trash Edit. comes yellow wax splattered with green splashes. fixed into recycled/natural sleeves! 12,50 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. yellow wax splattered with green splashes and with the "Jesus Horse" artwork, deluxe silk-screened covers, orange & black artwork printed on thick white recycled/natural paper!!! For P.Trash Club-members only! 16,50 Euro
This record smells like sweat-soaked lumberjack shirts and long hair flying in the stinky air down at a small club in Seattle in the late 80s and early 90s. But make no mistake, this is now! and WAR BABY from Vancouver present a debut record that functions perfectly as the soundtrack to the soon-to-come revival of the kind of noisy Guitar-Rock that was later labeled as 'Grunge' by some cheap media whores smelling the green and milking the scene.
'Jesus Horse' is so authentically in sound and songwriting that it could perfectly be described as the record that NIRVANA never recorded between 'Bleach' and 'Nevermind'. Period!
For the doubters: You really get it all here: Massive and powerful drums, perfect clean/distorted guitar work, cryptic lyrics sung with a laconic, hoarse voice and a fistful of wonderful hits!
Just listen to the opener 'Headless Horseman' and you are immediately soaked into another time and place. Hell, this reeks of teen spirit with a mouthful of bleach. The driving bass lines and headbanging choruses of 'Dentada', 'Queen Bee' and 'Melting Wish' seem to be lost 'Nevermind' outtakes, there are gloomy and darker songs like 'Cave' and 'Black Swan' that build up some high tension and explode in the choruses, there are noisier and more Stoner rocking tunes like 'Coalmine Canary' and 'Frankenstein' and you really won't miss a damn thing that stops you from time traveling back to the day you banged hard to NIRVANA, TAD, MUDHONEY and SCREAMING TREES and spent all your money in the Sub Pop 7'' fanclub.
Recorded with engineer / producer Jordan Koop (PEACE, NU SENSAE, THE MOHAWK LODGE) in the 100 year old heritage building that houses Vancouver Island's The Noise Floor recording studio.

WARMJETS - Wanna Start A War LP (Rave Up Rec.) 12,25 EUR
Philadelphia’s punk rock finest band! Started in 1977, the band was really popular at the ‘The Hot Club’, one of the main punk venues in USA. They had a punk ethos, but laced with a potent pop mentality and a big sense of pure theatricality that reminded one of suck disparate outfits as Sparks, The Weirdos, Lance Loud’s Mumps and The Dickies, not to mention The Monkees! Unfortunately the band recorded only one acetate and few studio tracks that you can find in this anthology that contains the best production of their unlucky career!!! Pure US punk genius, grab this!!!

WARM SODA - Someone For You LP (Castle Face Rec.) 17,90 EUR
MATTHEW MELTON previously of the spontaneously combusted BARE WIRES, has created a lean, mean gang of masterful power pop tunes with just the right blend of studio sweetness, teenage angst, and gritty bubblegum. All killer, no filler. Twelve hot-to-trot tracks packaged with a download code.

WARM TOY MACHINE - Not Tired To Blow LP (Full Trash 94)
Limd. 500 "Regular" Edit. comes in black wax fixed into normal sleeves! 11,90 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. comes in pink wax fixed into recycled/natural sleeves! For P.Trash Club-members only! Sold Out
Holding all the aces of 60’s garage rock the 2nd blast of FUZZZZZZ from Bruxelles’ WARM TOY MACHINE is ready to ship. According to the proverb “Never change a winning team” recordings & mastering done by Lo’ Spider at Swampland. In comparison to its predecessor the sound is not that direct in-your-face style - the new recordings are more like a premium wine or whiskey. Every single ingredient is the same as it used to, but now the flavor is definitely barrel aged, specialized for FUZZZZZZ-Connoisseurs. So if you wanna be rapt away by some DEMON’S CLAWS of fuzzy psych-hell-sound and find your self GET LOST! in a ’68 COMEBACK after the BLUES XPLOSION within a rollin’ & stomping crowd together with THE MUMMIES, J.C. SATAN and JACK OF HEART – you’re doin’ it right here. Rumors say that even Lemmy K. can’t refuse to tap his boots to these tunes as long as booze is pouring down. An extra ‘Cheers!’ goes to FREDDY D’HOE for the splendid cover picture.

WARM TOY MACHINE - Same LP (Self Release) 14,90 EUR
Exclusive distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
This thing is a highly recommended collector item! Debut LP from Belgiums WARM TOY MACHINE, P.Trash says: BEST Belgium band today. Think the sixties style of MUMMIES / CYNICS / MONKS had a date with BLACK LIPS psychedelic moments in a dirty garage!!! All songs mixed by Lo'Spider himself to a monster of FUZZZZZZZZZZ with massive swath of guitar power! Released by the band, but has our P.Trash logo on the backside sleeve because of P.Trash Exclusive distribution. The LP comes with amazing silkscreen sleeve, artwork and printed by the well-known graphist/illustrator Elzo Durt!!!

WARM TOY MACHINE / WHITE FANGS Split 7" (Frantic City Rec.) 5,25 EUR
Both bands are from Brussels, Belgium, and they share their bass player, so that's basically a "kissing cousins" kind of split! Frantic City home-band White Fangs goes heavier than usual with "Shit Happens", recorded during the same sessions as the LP, kind of a tribute song to the mighty Cosmic Psychos. On the flip the guys from WARM TOY MACHINE who put out a great debut last year and are working on their second LP finish us off with their dirty, raunchy, extra-fuzzy mix of Garage, Punk and Blues. Both songs were recorded by Lo'Spider at Swampland so you know it's going to blow your stereo!! Limited to 300 hand-numbered copies with 2 different covers.

WARSONG - Control LP (Dirt Cult Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
After leaving their mark on three continents, Zaragoza, Spain's WARSONG are traversing previously uncharted territory with their first release sung entirely in Spanish. This different way of expressing themselves opens onto a free street making new things possible. I honestly don't know how this band keeps cranking out so many bangers, but their latest record packs 8 more gripping tracks both recognizably WARSONG and significantly evolved from their previous releases. Their most complexly rich record to date, "Control" is an arresting soundtrack for dark times. Those who have been following this band for a while will also notice less distortion, longer and more elaborated song structures, and an unexpected treat on "Dejando Atrás" featuring guest female vocals from the singer of ACCIDENTE. I'd be hard pressed to find a current comparison because WARSONG has few musical contemporaries- they are truly carving out their own path. I hear the convergence of diverse elements such as THE ONLY ONES, early NEW ORDER, the WIPERS, SONIC YOUTH, and THE RAMONES blended up and spewed out against the neoliberal end times.

WARSONG - The Caravan 12" (Sabotage / Erste Theke Tonträger Rec.) 10,90 EUR
Here we go, from the ashes of INSOMNIO and NO ESCAPE comes WARSONG with their second release after their impressive “Ancient times” debut-LP. Five songs: all killer no filler (four original songs plus a Wipers song that hasn’t been covered to death – especially not in Spain). On a good day, this record will make out an instant classic, on a bad day you’ll have to play it twice to discover the depth and richness of this record, but you definitely won’t sell it to anyone else again, because real good records stay forever. If you want to describe the sound of WARSONG, put together a band with a young Clif Hanger (The Freeze) fronting an all star band with the best ingredients from DAG NASTY, ALL, THE WIPERS and the mighty ADOLESCENTS. Your wettest dreams come true, if their subject is pure melodic hardcore-punk in classic 80s style. The more often you play this record the bigger it grows … and it’s damn huge right now.--Kalle Stille
If you trust a over 40 Year Old Punk Rock Nerd, buy this Record or let it be!!! Again Mastered by genius Hajji Husayn from the awesome Red Dons.

WASPS - This Waspunk LP (Rave Up Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Formed in February 1976 The Wasps were one of London’s earliest punk bands. They were regulars at The Roxy, The Bridge House etc. and soon built a large following. In November 1977 their first single ‘Teenage Treats’ was released on the 4-Play label. Reviewed in the NME as "great single" by Bob Geldof, the single is a marvellous example of ’77 punk rock and now highly collectable. A month later, The Wasps appeared on the ‘Live At The Vortex’ album. Recorded in October ’77 their track ‘Can’t Wait ‘Till ‘78’ was chosen as the lead track for a split single with Mean Streets who included a young Gary Numan! In mid ’78 the band played a gig at The Bells in Kings Cross, London. During their set a fan was set upon by over zealous bouncers who thought he’d let off a firework, beat him up and he consequently died. Their snd 7” ‘Rubber Cars’ was released to much acclaim and a TV company wanted to make an animated series based upon the band. Suddenly The Wasps were hot property and former managers filed writs causing RCA to pull the plug on ‘Rubber Cars’, despite it being RCA’s biggest selling single of the week! The disappointment and the legal problems caused the band to split. Yeah! Finally on vinyl the anthology of all their tracks!!!

WASTED - Outsider By Choice CD (Combat Rock Rec.) 9,90 EUR
This record is great surprise - after long years of silence and great show finnish Wasted played on DIY fest in Gdynia this year they are back with new full length. There is everything I like them so much for on this record - hardcorepunk with great mixture of melody... file under: DESCENDENTS, DEAD BOYS, AGENT ORANGE and SPERMBIRDS.... Super!!!

WASTED PIDO - The B-low Budget Sessions 7" (94tapes.org Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Germany distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
WASTED PIDO one man band is a show of dirty rock n roll, a mixed-up lo-fi attack of shaking rhythms and no future country ballads made with cheap electronic devices. You know his cover "Neutron Bomb" by The Controllers out on P.Trash Compilation KILLED BY TRASH Vol. 2 LP!!! This 7" consist in 4 obscure, trash-country songs from a recording session at the B-Low Budget Studios on Switzerland mountains in January 2012. Produced by Benu (come'n go/stompin' hobos) and Wasted Pido. Cover art by Sheriff Perkins.

WAU Y LOS ARRGHS - Todo Roto LP (Slovenly Rec.) 14,90 EUR
The 3rd album from Spain’s most savage crew of ‘66 garage-punk worshipping scum of the Earth, WAU Y LOS ARRRGHS!!! This brand new long-playing monstrosity sees singer Juanito Wau, the barely human Rat Fink comic, continuing his long-held reign as the most bugged out screamer on the scene. Meanwhile, and we do mean MEAN, the remaining Arrrghs mutilate the massive, crunched-out riffs of 60s punk’s past (Cuby and the Blizzards and Jacques Dutronc, anyone?) and reconstructs them with spit, snarl and endless piles of fuzz and swirling Vox organ. Impolite, swinging brutality from the grave for the sweatiest go-go gorilla party ever!

WAVVES - King Of The Beach LP + MP3 (Fat Possum Rec.) 15,90 EUR
"King of the beach", the new WAVVES album is an adventurous and ambitious record. It cuts deeper into the bleeding throat catharsis and ’60s sunshine soul that WAVVES is known for. It also unexpectedly flips out with elements of primitive electronics and psychedelic studio experimentation. Unlike WAVVES’ previously released material, recorded in haphazard bursts on Nathan Williams’ laptop, "King of the beach" was toiled over for three months at Sweet Tea Recording, a world-renowned studio in Oxford, Mississippi. Sweet Tea is also the home of Dennis Herring, producer of the last two Modest Mouse albums, and the man who dismantled and re-assembled the sound on this record.

WAX IDOLS - No Future LP (HoZac Rec.) 16,50 EUR
The San Francisco Bay area’s most promising breakout, and formidable female-fronted pop wonders are not who you may already believe or expect. Lead by the enigmatically agitated HEATHER FEDEWA (aka HEATHER FORTUNE, ex-HUNX & HIS PUNX, BARE WIRES, and current BLASTED CANYONS), WAX IDOLS straddle the line between ripping tough/tender post-punk/goth-pop, and irresistibly anthemic indie rock hooks, somewhat like Joan Jett would sound like tearing through Best Coast with a chainsaw or if Mary Monday had been a member of Wire. Your curiosity may have already been piqued from their unabashed debut 7-inch “All Too Human,” released on Hozac earlier this year, but it’s hard to imagine anyone being ready for an LP of this caliber, bursting at the seams with hits for all seasons, and effortlessly blurring the lines between viciously beautiful temperance and an unwavering, attitude-soaked attack on your comfort zone. With an arsenal of songs that range from chest-pounding melodic punk screamers, to tense-yet-tumultuous tracks of sadness overcome with bombastic pop precision, No Future is one of the most impressive LPs we’ve had the pleasure of releasing, and one we’re sure will go far. Fedewa’s uniquely surly-yet-sultry voice has such an lasting impact, it seamlessly traces the gamut of human emotions back & forth from the unhinged heights to the inescapable doldrums, all tied up in perfect blasts of modern pop/post-punk subdued simplicity that are as upfront and immediate as any of of their legendary influences.

WAX MUSEUMS - Zoo Full Of Ramones LP (Tic Tac Totally Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Billy’s Room, TX. Peering across the floor through beer cans, garbage and vomit-encrusted B-movie clamshells...something moves. You slowly look into a shaking cheeseburger bag...AND THE WAX MUSEUMS EMERGE TO CLAW YOUR NOSE OFF! It lands on a rotting hamburger. You die. They've crafted the sickest spectacle of partying, sharp humor, and Steinberger basses since they crawled out of a VCR in 2006. And if you've had an eyeball (Yes? No?!)...you've seen them. But do not dismay if you've missed any of their out-of-print wax previously issued on Hozac, Douchemaster, Kenrock, Rehab or Fashionable Idiots. Because here's the entire carnivorous monkey-house in one 24-track LP...Zoo Full Of Ramones! Our scientists at TTT have recreated the very primordial ooze of the band. Returning to print every dose of concentrated hyperactivity, and enhancing them with an extra beaker of UNRELEASED, and rare material, circa 2006-2008 AD.

WAX MUSEUMS - Eye Times LP (Trouble In Mind Rec.) 15,90 EUR
WAX MUSEUMS - Eye Times CD (Trouble In Mind Rec.) 14,90 EUR
Wait, have the Wax Museums MATURED?!?!?! After a 3 year hiatus north TX’s lovable misfits (who share members with The Bad Sports and Mind Spiders) are back with a four-headed thirteen eyed monster of an album that while still slightly awkward, is undeniably focused and endearing. ‘Eye Times’ is a musical step forward with moments of glammy art-rockness that proves once and for all these clowns ain’t just one-joke jerks. ‘Mosquito Enormo’ swarms and stings with it’s way-out delay pedal induced chaos and ‘Bruiser’ proves the Wax Museums still just write killer punk anthems. The charming nerd-o aesthetic that was so prevalent on the early singles and first LP remain, but NOW with added sexual frustration, ‘Breakfast for Dinner’ just very well might be the Wax Museum’s “Me So Horny“… or something. The first press of this LP is on randomly-mixed vinyl & includes a download code! RIYL: Bad Sports, Cheap Time, Icky Boyfriends, Dickies, Devo...

WAX MUSEUMS - Same LP (Douchmaster Rec.) 14,90 EUR
Apparently there is absolutely nothing to do in Denton, TX but write songs. We feel privileged to bring you the first full length album from the extraordinarily prolific WAX MUSEUMS. You know what to expect at this point and The WAX MUSEUMS deliver. Fourteen tracks of killer Educational Punk.

WEAKENDS - Same LP (Rob's House Rec.) 15,50 Euro
The WEAKENDS are back with the follow-up to their debut 7", and this time it's with a long-player that finds its home a bit more on the blues-punk side of the no-fi french underground. They are banging away, singing through broken PA's, sounding like a way cooler hot rod, 50's, b-movie band then you ever remember, or they sound like what those bands should have sounded like, but they were too self aware or just never that good. Tour with BLACK LIPS for early next year in the works??

WEAKENDS - Same 7" (Rob`s House Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Debut release from Bordeaux's The WEAKENDS and gauranteed to please. Too many lo-fi fuzzed out influences to name but these guys live it and this is just their first step on the way to claiming the title of france's best garage band. Recorded by french weird punks CHEVEUC.

WE ARE THE HUNTERS - Outerspace Moments LP (Burka For Everybody Rec.) 15,90 EUR
"We are the Hunters were born from the fusion of SENTRIONAUT and SYNTHEMBRYO. The years have passed, they are influenced by German electronics, experimental sounds, space synth, minimal synth, ambient, industrial... For this goal they began their way armed with a selection of analogue and digital synths, adding analogue DIY machinery, semi-modular systems and a clear influence of the science fiction that has been with us for decades, either in cinema, literature, soundtracks and, above all, electronic synth music created from the 70's, 80's and 90's."
The sound from 70´s electronic german kosmishe of early Tangerine Dream , Klaus Schulze, Michael Hoenig, You , Riechman to scifi films soundtracks to the present by Steve Moore, Steve Haustchildt , Raglani, Majeure ...

WEBELOS - Megadiez 7" (Bowery Rec.) 5,00 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! There´s a before and an after of this record in Spain since with this single the Iberian punk Rock returned to his place. Megadiez was a kick in the ribs for all the Spanish punk Rock bands that had its eyes focused on the American bands, and on the false punk Rock that came from Scandinavia in the ends of the 90´s. With these ten songs the Webelos focused again the attention in forgotten spanish bands such as Desechables, Último Resorte or Larsen ... On the other hand, they returned the audacity to punk Rock, pimping everyone upon putting in the market this brutal engraved piece to the first one takes in a four track, using only two of them. The madrid trio sat the bases for everything that would come later: one minute songs, no difficult guitar chords, and no concessions to heavy metal. No musical knowledges and a good dose of mongolism surround this second generation classic of the Iberian punk Rock, that now Bowery records dares to rescue 10 years later , celebrating its anniversary as it deserves. "Its a nasty Punk sound, still blows my minds out . ..” get your copy now and no longer you will have to pay crazy $$$$ to get this single in ebay!!!

WEDNESDAYS - Liberty 7" (Perpetrator Rec. New Zealand) 6 Euro
Perpetrator Rec. No.01 last copies of this Alabama punkabilly kinda band--

WEEKEND DADS - Weekend Dads 7" (It's Alive Rec.) 5,75 EUR
Weekend Dads get their jam on in the land that lies somewhere between the classic four-chord down-stroking pop punk of yesteryear and the shout-it-out-loud super-charged anthems of today's modern pop punkers. They've taken two subgenres that have been done to death and put them together in a style that bridges the gap between the sugary sweet and hopelessly bleak. Their debut release is by no means a reinvention of the wheel, but more like a ride through a neighborhood you've been to a thousand times before, only this time you're taking the side streets and alleyways you always overlooked. The best shit is always in places you least expect to find it... places like Moncton, New Brunswick!

WELCOME HOME WALKER - Duds! LP (Taken By Surprise Rec.) 11,50 EUR
Who would have thought that a group of southern boys, now living in Portland, Oregon, would uncover the future of doo-wop boogie pop, lassoing the soul of 1950 and the hooks of 1970 and dragging those years through the dregs of punk into 2011? DUDS! is the first full length by W.H. WALKER, 10 pop filled anthems featuring a cover of BOBBY DARIN"s DREAM LOVER!

WELDERS - Same 7" (BDR / Rerun Rec.) 5,90 EUR
The Welders were a punk rock band started by five teenage girls in St. Louis in 1975. There was Caroline (bass), Jane (drums), Julie (guitar), Rusty (guitar) and Stephanie (vocals). We were 13 - 15 years old. We were straight-A students and we all wore glasses. Most of all, we loved rock'n'roll. British Invasion and glitter mostly. We also loved comedy like the Marx Brothers and Monty Python. 4 of us worked as busgirls at a Chinese restaurant to raise money for instruments. By 1976, we'd all gotten contact lenses and learned to apply makeup.
We met our first two managers, Norman Schoenfeld and Jim Maresca at Northwest Plaza. They arranged for us to play our first show at a teen club called the Blueberry Jam in Hazelwood in November of 1976. We played 3 songs: "I Don't Want to Walk Around With You" by the Ramones, "Wild Thing" by the Troggs and "I Can't Explain" by the Who (except for one of us who was playing a different Who song entirely).
Our second show was the First St. Louis Punk Rock Festival at the 4th and Pine club downtown in January of 1977. After this show, we parted ways with our guitarist Julie. The next show, another Punk Rock Festival at the Florissant Civic Center was the pinnacle of our punk rock band/comedy show concept for which we had a loose script and many props. Our introduction music was "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" as sung by Maurice Chevalier from the musical "Gigi". We also covered "I Trusted You" by Andy Kaufman during this show.
The Welders played perhaps a dozen shows total as punk rock gigs were very hard to book in St. Louis at this time. One of our favorite shows was the Stonehenge club show in the summer of 1978 supporting the Scruffs and the Singapores. In 1979, we parted ways with Stephanie and school chum Colleen became our new singer. We recorded a 4-song demo that will, hopefully, finally be released on vinyl in 2009, 30 years after recording it. During the last phase of the band, Lyla joined on drums while Jane played Farfisa and Vox organs. We played a few shows with this line up. Then on Christmas day, 1980, the Welders decided it was no fun anymore and broke up.

WE LIVE IN TRENCHES - Out Of The Dark 7" (Kink Rec.) 5,50 EUR
It’s been a long time coming but WE LIVE IN TRENCHES are finally coming out of the dark with their first release in years after their amazing P.Trash Debut LP. The sound is still distorted, monotone and dark. The lyrics are still politically charged and hopelessly bitter. And the whole is still heavy and completely crushing. Post-Punk/Noise-Stompern at its BEST!!! Think HAMMERHEAD(us), BIG BLACK (Without Drum-Computer), HELIOS CREED (Without Synthi)!

WE LIVE IN TRENCHES - Life Crisis LP (La Familia Rec.) 11,90 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
If "Modern Hex" P.Trash LP was WE LIVE IN TRENCHES' exercise in a forceful excavation of ruthlessness then "Life Crisis" is their manifestation of being trapped in a box, knowing all exits are closed, barred and tightly shut. Darkness is all encompassing and embracing everyone. There is nothing remotely beautiful about Life Crisis. That, my friend, was never the aim. Life Crisis a pummeling machine grinding its gears until they collapse from exhaustion. It's a structured mess ? precise and breathtaking, calculated and physically hurting. The throat-slit vocals broadcast grieving despair and wages war against selected recipients with a backbone built on crumbs of hope. But don?t mistake the words for pessimism. It's simply realism in the crosshair of a man with issues. The musical backdrop is a narrowing corridor, stained with blood and piss; guitars echoes the piercing sounds of Dead & Gone's Rocky Crane while intertwining the assault of an Arab on Radar-esque nihilism. The rhythm section constructs a sound that could make up walls in a panic room. It obliterates the vacuum in our sleepy brains. The sum of We Live In Trenches' parts is vastly greater than the singularity of their individuality. With "Life Crisis" We Live In Trenches has created a soundtrack for people in dire need of an eye-opener. You're welcome.

WE LIVE IN TRENCHES - Modern Hex LP (Full Trash 43)
Limd. 452 regular edition 11,50 Euro
Limd. 100 "Burning Of Witches" Edit, have copper color silk-screened covers, printed on thick dark blue paper & black wax, for P.Trash Club-members only! Sold Out
Their sound has been seething slowly in dark and mud-filled trenches way up north in those Swedish realms and finally the desperados of a vile church signal and embrace the end of all ends with this record that immediately pops up in everybody's top ten list these days like the epiphany of the holy mother of Noise. If tomorrow never comes this is the soundtrack to your final hours. When the walls close in and everything implodes, this is your fix of reality! ”Modern Hex” is an attention-seeking atom bomb ready to explode through the plasticity of your life. Through every syllable spits conviction, with every dissonant note thought pierces through, with every beat there's nail hammered down.
Filtering the pounding bassline and shattering drums of UNSANE and the stoic sonic brutality of FUCKED UP in dragging songs like ''White knuckles'', ''I owe my soul'' and ''Black Friday'', adding some galloping speed, FLIPPER's insane distortion and the craving urge of early Touch & Go bands like THE JESUS LIZARD in ''Vatican strap'', ''Male damage'' and ''After dark'' and flavouring this cocktail of ugly anthems with some furious female growls in ''Deported'' and the title track ''Modern hex''.
This ain't sheet music but the noise emanating from a palpitating sick heart that passionately smashes against a wall.

WESLEY COLEMANS - Fourth Of July 7" (Boom Chick Rec.) Dif. color wax marble green, yellow,... 5,50 Euro
Wesley Coleman is a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a jelly donut. The songs on this 7", unlike a lot of Wesley's catalog, have a little something we like to call structure and verses and choruses, but he still manage to blow your mind with his stream of consciousness bullshit songwriting. He's the Hasil of our generation without sounding anything like him. But without the hot dogs.

Welcome to the Land of the Haunted Houses! The quartet plays garage-y-keyboard driven power pop/rocknroll grown up in Time Bomb Highschool. Mix the GREG OBLIVIAN's latest output with the modern pop edge of swedish LOST PATROL BAND or CAESARS (for adults: put ELVIS COSTELLO or electrified 60´s sunshine in here) and you get what you need for the summer or the long wait for the next summer. It´s the midwest where you can listen to the best records, develop a magic antennae for great songwriting and still take it easy sing about UFOs and deliver the soundtrack for any beach blow-out. Two guitars, no bass, a feverish beat and girl on the keys. Yep! Well crafted songwriting full of hooks and a great vocals - check! The WHEELS ON FIRE have records on FAT POSSUM/BIG LEGAL MESS and lately a 7" Single of lovely TROUBLE IN MIND RECORDS. They look back on three US tours and two European tours and still sneak out and move under the radar from the opinion making media machines. Which is fine with us so we can present this solid gold recordings plus we can tell that they put down a kicking live show with duel vocals, fuzzy organ and blistering guitars. The album has twelve originals and comes in unbelievable full color artwork by our friends at Moustache Gracias with printed inner sleeve. WHEELS ON FIRE just finished an extended US tour in June 2010 - look out for the band to tour Europe throughout October 2010. Fun guaranteed.

WHITE ASS - White Ass LP (Frantic City Rec.) 12,50 EUR
You most likely discovered White Ass with their first recordings available on a split tape with The Skeptics out on Frantic City and Inch Allah records, then you surely must have heard their hit song "Stencil" opening Frantic City's various artist LP "Hamburger Saignant" out a few months ago, now here is finally their first LP, co-released by Frantic City, Kizmiaz, Pouet! and Inch Allah! 12 tracks recorded by Sashtrash and mastered by Seb Normal wrapped in a nice fold-out cover. For those who don't know them yet, White Ass is an all-star four-piece Garage Punk band from Paris formed by current or ex-members of Teenage Moonlight Borderliners, Viscous Brothers, Crash Normal, Pierre et Bastien, T.I.T.S., Feeling of Love and probably a lot more! They decided to bring this new band to life because none of those mentionned above actually went for this super-reverbed, trashed-out Garagey Punk sound that's already synonymous with fair-skinned buttocks in some parts of France, and you certainly won't blame them once you've heard those 12 rockers!
http://franticcity.bandcamp.com/album/frantic-029

WHITE ASS / SKEPTICS Tape (Frantic City Rec.) 7,50 EUR
This is Frantic City's second co-release with Inch Allah Records from Paris after the Teenage Moonlight Borderliners / White Fangs split tape which came out some time ago (FRANTIC 016). On this new split tape you'll find the very first recordings from White Ass from Paris, Trash Garage band formed by ex or current Viscous Brothers, Teenage Moonlight Borderliners, Crash Normal, Pierre et Bastien, TITS and more, 5 super-trash, highly-reverbed and extremely well-knit songs. Check these dudes out they're sure worth it! On the other side are 6 tracks taken from the very first band-recordings done by the Skeptics in April 2012 in the Netherlands with Robin, the first Skeptics' drummer, on drums. These were recorded one afternoon in a Garage somewhere in Meppel by Peter 'Tapeworm' (No-Goods, Keefmen, Grapefruit Zoo, Low Point Drains...) on his 4-track portable recording device of some sort. Lots of Fuzz and lots of Reverb. What else would you expect from the Skeptics? Primitive, that's how they live. Dig it freaks, but dig it fast because only 100 copies of this nice little tape were made! Art by Etienne Belargent and Alessandra Danelli.

WHITE FANGS / WARM TOY MACHINE Split 7" (Frantic City Rec.) 5,25 EUR

WHITE FANGS / TEENAGE MOONLIGHT BORDERLINERS Split Tape (Frantic City Rec.) 7,50 EUR
Second tape out on Frantic City, White Fangs (Garage Punk trio from Brussels formed by guys from thee Marvin Gays, Warm Toy Machine, Wild Zeros, Mean Things, Skeptics, Pneumonias etc) put 8 tracks from the same recording session as the split 7" with Combomatix (recorded in April 2011 by Benjamin Daures from the Creteens and Yussuf Jerusalem in his basement/bedroom in St Ouen), they end up with a neat cover version of Devo's "Mongoloid". This is for side A, on side B the duo from Paris Teenage Moonlight Borderliners put 8 tracks as well, recorded on a portable recorder (!), Bluesy Garage Trash with lots of reverb! Artwork by Henry Death! 150 copies

WHITE FENCE - (Vol. 1 & 2) Family Perfume DoLP (Woodsist Rec.) 26,90 EUR
“Fuck nostalgia. Live the truth. Truth is feeling, truth is sound, truth is motion. I am believing. I am seeing. I am moving. Truth is forever. Meet the Tim Presley / White Fence Truth Serum. Imagine, if you will, that your Uncle Frank, Aunt Jane and Cousin Ricky all made out with George Harrison at the same time and felt good about it. That’s what the Family Perfume smells like. Like the real shit. This ain’t your regular mutton-chop rock. This is freak your fucking mom out ’cause she caught you naked in the backyard blasting this shit rock. This is not a joke. This is the hit factory. This is the eye. This is another planet. And hurry up, cause this perfume ain’t available at no Macy’s. Fuck the Rolling Stones. Long live Keith. We’re already dead. Smell the truth. Fuck the truth. Fuck rock and roll. Love rock and roll.” —Ty Segall “Wake up. Write. Write. Record. Tweak. Write. Record. Swallow. Tweak out. Tweak. Bounce. Write. Wake up. Record. Sex? No. Sleep. Wake up. Record. “I hardly have anything but this anymore.... I had 80 songs, then chopped it to 60 and now to 30. It’s a collection, and an album. I have some important things to say to myself. I’m a rock ’n’ roll soldier forever. I melt music. When people talk to me, I’m thinking about some song to do. I think I’ve been cursed. I have no say in the matter. A rainbow Vex. It’s OK though; it’s for the greater good. “A song can make someone feel so good, or make someone want to write a better one. And sometimes, it could make you rob a liquor store. These are the songs of a man in a bag, and his blue pen.” —Tim Presley

WHITE FENCE - Cyclops Reap LP (Castle Face Rec.) 17,90 EUR
A whole new LP from TIM PRESLEY, will be sure to please fans of last year's Family Perfume Vol.1 + 2. Heavy on the warp, mellow to the yellow, with perhaps even more earworms this time around, shoe-strung together and laced with adenoidal whimsy as only Mr. Presley can pull off.

WHITE FENCE - Same LP (God? Rec.) 18,90 EUR
2013 edit. Restoring a lost gem to the crown of WHITE FENCE, God? is bringing the first, self-titled, White Fence album back to the vanguard. White Fence originally came out on San Francisco’s Make a Mess label; the CD is currently in print on Woodsist. TIM PRESLEY’s been building a White Fence he can be proud of since back in 2010; his fourth trip to the other side of the fence just dropped and new pop music horizons continue to shimmer invitingly in all the music that he makes. If you walked into the party when the second album was playing or even the new one, those’re probably a great place to start too. But this first record is a REALLY good place to start. Tim’s a veteran of a few bands before White Fence, like DARKER MY LOVE, and he’s made records with TY SEGALL and THE STRANGE BOYS too, but his own thing is very special, as you may know—a foolproof and ever-morphing approach to writing songs by bringing the freshness of lysergic ‘60s visions into the present day. This pressing returns White Fence to the LP shelf for the first time since the Saladin daze of 2010, when too few copies were made and they all went away. Now it is back, with all the bells and whistles intact (insert! stickers!) that made it such fun to ride in once upon a time not so long or so recently ago, either. It’s a perfectly balanced two-sided journey—and with “Be Right Too,” the best is saved for last, a melody that will haunt and linger in a righteous way. Leaving us to feel that this is what pop songs were meant to be. They were!

WHITE LOAD - Same 7" (Leather Bar Records) 5,75 EUR
Ian`s (Local Cross Records boss) own band! Simple, noisy, violent, hard punk music from Providence, RI. WHITE LOAD take the warped guitar stylings of bands like SEX VID and HOMOSTUPIDS / 9 SHOCKS and apply it to a more manic template... think GANG GREEN circa This Is Boston, Not LA. You can hear samples and order their record at myspace.com/leatherbarrecords.

WHITE MYSTERY - Blood And Venom LP (White Mystery Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Highly recommend!!! Ferocious red-head brother/sister Chicago duo WHITE MYSTERY featuring MISS ALEX WHITE and FRANCIS SCOTT KEY WHITE return with Blood & Venom, the follow-up to their self-titled, self-released debut LP that earned praise from Sound Opinions, ELLE Magazine Brazil, garage rock legends The Gories, and was named by the Chicago Tribune as a Top Ten Album of 2010. Smoke, flames, alright.

WHITE NIGHT - Prophets of Templum CDXX LP (Recess Rec.) 14,90 EUR
First pressing white vinyl very limited! Being buddies from right around the bend,I've known me some White Night for many years now. I must admit that they had me scratching my head trying to figure out their aim. I think, with this recording, they found it. It's one weird ass bullseye! I'm super happy and proud to release this gem! Some songs would fit supremely on the Beach Blvd compilation, and i'm not just saying that based on geography. Although that can be argued. A lil Sparks comparison never hurt anyone neither. Descendents ride the wild and I Don't Wanna Grow up comes to mind too. Fuck, even Steely Dan!! If being aimless leads to this then piss on aim.

WHITE OUT`S - Solid State 7" (SHITSANDWICH Rec.) 5,5 Euro
With members from MOTARDS, GUILTY PLEASURES,...plays lofi garage trash punk

WHITE PAGES - Bam Bam 7" (Can't Stand Ya Rec.) 6,50 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Highly recommended! 4 more blasts of punk trash from Boston! If WHITE PAGES remind me of anything, it's bands like MIDNITE SNAXXX or THE SPLITS who graft a girl group-inspired simple fast and direct catchiness over propulsive punk with a DIY sensibility....
http://whitepages.bandcamp.com/album/bam-bam-e-p

WHITE PAGES - Same 7" (Can't Stand Ya! Rec.) 6,50 EUR
Highly recommended, limd 250 Four-song debut from this new Boston, Massachusetts band with a really unique sound. I'm really hard-pressed to even describe what WHITE PAGES have going on... the songs are short, snappy, and snotty, and they barrel along at near-HC tempos, but the music is super catchy, but not in a garage rock kind of way. If WHITE PAGES remind me of anything, it's bands like MIDNITE SNAXXX or THE SPLITS who graft a girl group-inspired simple and direct catchiness over propulsive punk with a DIY sensibility. Short, snotty, and scrappy punk from an utterly unique band...

WHITE SAVAGE / TRES DELICIAS 7" (Holy Cobra Society Rec.) 5,50 Euro
WHITE SAVAGE is seasoned: All but one of these heathens have been or are in bands you should know if you don’t already. Jered Gummere’s from the PONYS, Jim McCann is from BASEBALL FURIES and TYRADES, Colin Smith from SCREAMING YELLO ZONKERS, Greg Sharp’s from CHIN UP CHIN UP, and Ryan Weinstein was in the RETURNABLES and ZZZZ. And then there’s Bob Johnson, the saxophone player who works the door at the Empty Bottle and had to kick out a heckler at the very first show he played with the band. WHITE SAVAGE is a mystery: Sometime masks are worn and the six members are no longer their affable, (mostly) Midwestern selves. They are primal savages who will surf on their guitars, swing from ceiling fans, burn themselves on lights, lie on the floor, walk out the door, scream, sweat and convulse. WHITE SAVAGE was born in Chicago, sprung from the good time hang outs of three drinking buddies who all happen to have the spirit of savages running through them. The band rose from the ashes of one dissolved band through friendship and brought in members who needed “funship”: an escape from the parts of the world that bring you down, a place to hug it out when trifling bitches, shitty jobs, and cold cities try to keep the spirit down. WHITE SAVAGE isn’t just a band that goes ape-shit, knocks your head back and smacks you into realizing the wonder of the world, hangs from the rafters and drills holes into the floor. It’s a way of life and it feels all right.
TRES DELICIAS is the best trio Spain had for years...It´s the new definition for Irrational...as that time you listened GORIES, like first time "Soul Food" sounded in your pick-up. 1 minute it´ll take to say that they are some kinda of KBD. Another one wil say that they sounded to the most primitive GUN CLUB. Nor fucking idea. Or yes?. And as a good food is nothing without a good wine...if they play less than 650 km of your house, better go round to see them and look how with a pair of guitars,a box and goliath the modernloved "She cracked " can be twisted ...

WHITE WIRES - WWII LP + MP3 (Dirtnap Rec.) 14,50 EUR
WHITE WIRES - WWII CD (Dirtnap Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Ottawa, Ontario is exploding with good bands, easily one of our favorite musical hotbeds in North America at the moment. This is a sun-soaked garage-pop-punk gem that will satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. Simple, spare, haunting, instantly memorable pop songs that’ll leave you glad to be alive. The tones are a little brighter, the tempos a little faster, the songs a little (if this is possible) catchier than on their debut.

WHITE WIRES – WWIII LP (Dirtnap Rec.) 14,50 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Here it is, the 3rd album from Ottawa Ontario's WHITE WIRES, and it's their best one yet! We're not just saying that, either! Confident, heart-felt, refreshingly irony-free pop that's just about the catchiest thing you've ever heard. This is a rock solid album that really hits a stride as it goes along. One thing we've always admired about this band is how each of their albums are very distinct from one another, but are unmistakably, undeniably The White Wires. The first record was the "garage" album, the 2nd was the "punk" album, this one is the pop masterpiece. Get ready. All copies come with download coupon.

WHITE WIRES - Crazy Crazy 7" (Floridas Dying / Total Punk Rec.) 5,90 EUR
The hits just keep on coming for Florida label Total Punk Records. This time around, we’ve got a brand new track from the WHITE WIRES, a preview of their long-awaited upcoming third LP WWIII, which will be released by Dirtnap in July. “Crazy Crazy” is yet another simple, catchy Ramones-influenced banger from the band, and it will be out in a few weeks on 45 RPM wax.

WHITTINGTONS, THE - Daddy Did It / Can't Stop Baby / Terrorist (The Pack) 7" (Sack`o`Shit Rec.) 7,50 EUR
Very last copies from 1997!!! 1st comes 1st!!! Ryan from the Haircuts/Label owner in great band from his past, SEXAREENOS/ HENCHMEN style lo-fi raw punk garage

WICCANS - Field II LP (Hardware Rec.) 11,75 EUR
Follow up to their first award winning LP from last year. The WICCANS continue to pump out one of the toughest but simultaneously rocking and raging tunes I heard this year that aren't too far away from FUCKED UP's early to mid-period approach. For me this is Hardcore Punk Rock at its peak! I highly recommended to finally put them on your radar! US-Americans order from KATORGA WORKS please.

WICKED AWESOMES! - Punk Holograms LP (Psychic Handshake Rec.) 14,90 EUR
Take this for hyperbole if you will, but Punk Holograms is a mindblowing album, and one of the best debut LP's in recent memory. Hailing from the unlikely locale of Edmonton, Alberta (one of the coldest, most northern cities of over 1 million people in the entire world), The WICKED AWESOMES have been cultivating their brand of "subarctic frozen glü-wave*" for almost three years now, releasing a split 7" with Montreal's The O VOIDS, and their debut single, "Information Entropy," on Almost Ready Records last year (the latter of which sold out of its first pressing almost immediately). These five talented young men are like a virtual cool sounds encyclopedia; a lexicon of stellar punk, garage, psych, art rock and new wave influences. A real product of the "download generation," if their ever was one. There are so many potential hits on this record, its unreal. Think of the BLACK LIPS playing Daydream Nation-era SONIC YOUTH filtered down through DEVO, and you're starting to scratch the surface. Listen further and you'll uncover so much more. Expect this thirteen track, 36 minute opus!!! - DJ Rick (MySpace comment)

WILDEBEESTS - Annie Get Your Gnu LP (Screaming Apple Rec.) 10,00 Euro
Look out, here come those Wildebeests again with a whole new bunch of tunes to make you the listener perk up and take heed. Whether it be 'rivvum and bloos', 'tank pok', 'instro-mental larkabout', or 'skewed sick-stays styled beat-noise', these Lairds can KO with the best of them, fuck it, let's make with the fact that The Wildebeests, the band that features (ex)-members of the MILKSHAKES, KAISERS and THANES, can knock any and all others off the blocks anyday, anywhere, and at anytime. After a pile of single, EP and album releases on Norton Records, Sympathy For The Record Industry and Smartguy Records in the US the Wildebeests have returned to Germany and Screaming Apple (who coincidently released their first single way back in 1995) to release this the groups 4th long-player.

WILD MUSTANG – Kaiser Wilhelm’s Motorcycle One-sided 7" (Stencil Trash Rec.) 12,75 EUR

WILD ONES - Day Drunk 7" (La Ti Da Rec.) 5,90 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
From Santa Cruz to your stereo, from the bottle to your lips, this single pairs well with day drinking and day dreaming about rain while baking in the sun. The perfect sound track to skinned knees on long legs.

WILD ZEROS - Same 10" (Frantic City Rec.) 10,50 Euro
Less than a year after they put out their first 4-track single (FRANTIC 006), the WILD ZEROS throw out 10 new tracks recorded with Lo'Spider in Toulouse on a neat-looking 10" vinyl limited to 300 copies! They took an organ instead of the second guitar and found about Fuzz and Tremolo, the guys are heading staight into the Garage but still have that 66/77 mix sound. Take the SONICS, SEEDS, LYRES, REAL KID, DEVIL DOGS, SUPERCHARGER and a handful copies of Back From The Grave or Psychedelic Unknowns comps, put everything into your mixer and now just think about the luscious mind-blowing cocktail you're gonna have!

WILKO - Solid Senders LP (Virgin Rec.) 4,00 EUR

WILLOWZ - Horn Song Ep 7" (Contaminated Rec.) 10,00 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! Collector Item from 2005 !!! Coke-bottle clear vinyl!
2 great songs for fans of the Ponys, Gris Gris, Arthur Lee styles.

WINKS - Too hot to be this cool LP (Rockin Bones Rec.) 10,00 Euro
They brings to mind the trashpunk of the BobbyTeens and early Donnas mixed with the wild raw of the VKTMS and
Deadly Weapons. Imagine Tura Satana from Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! starting a punk band after too many tallboys

WIRE - Kidney Bingos 12" (Mute Rec., col. wax) 5,00 Euro

WiZZARD SLEEVE / GARY WRONG GROUP - Halloween Violence Split 7" + Halloween Mask (Jeth-Row Rec.) 8,25 EUR
GWG side: Dream Smasher
WS side: Loupgarou

WiZZARD SLEEVE / TRUE SONS OF THUNDER Split 7" (Jeth-Row Rec.) 6,00 EUR
WiZZARD SLEEVE side (Setting Fire To Your Loft) 8min of hate, puke, piss, bile and blackened synth/guitar murder.
TSOT side (Butt Bong) my favorite Memphis band flippering you down a 6 hour interstate trip to New Orleans in 4 1/2 min of mindfuckery scree and plod. If you think Einsturzende Neubauten is the sound of buildings collapsing, TSOT're like the sound of the clamor at the town meeting between the local politicians and the concerned citizens arguing over having the derelict buildings torn down. On drugs.

WIZZARD SLEEVE - Make The World Go Away LP (HoZac Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Just as the harrowing chill of summer's slow death drifts across the land, the skin-crawling death-punk masterpiece debut LP from Alabama's confederate glue-wave goth 'tards, Wizzard Sleeve hits the shelves and drags all the sinister vibrations from the ugly side of psychedelia right up front where it belongs. As their influences have cited, and the self-described trinity of Chrome, Crime and Creedence settles into place in your chemically-damaged skull, and the unexpectedly danceable hits from their string of vile, self-depricating 7" singles are reborn with a devastatingly murky effect that will drag you down into a hole faster than any over-the-counter anti-anxiety cocktail you've ever ingested. Like Peter Murphy sucking on a tailpipe, Wizzard Sleeve are the end of the line for your happy good times and the start of a new atrocious standard in head-expanding, zooed-out and shut-in true punk weirdness that won't be getting many brownie points with mom, dad, church leaders, or parole officers anytime soon.

WOLFBRIGADE - Comalive LP (Deranged Rec.) 12,50 EUR
WOLFBRIGADE - Comalive CD (Deranged Rec.) 12,00 EUR
The 5th album from the Scandinavian hardcore steamroller with 14 new tracks of down tuned crustcore blasts. Their strongest studio recording since the excellent “ALL DAY HELL”, ‘COMALIVE” finds the band in peak form blending obvious elements of POISON IDEA, MOTORHEAD, DISCHARGE, and death metal.

WOMEN - No Reasons LP (FDH Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Philadelphia's Women return with their first LP. This follows up their debut 7" that they released back in 2008. No Reasons blasts through 11 tracks, in only 20 minutes. Just as aggressive as Women's first release, yet more melodic at the same time. A perfect blend of garage punk and 80's hardcore. A must have for anyone's collection. Co-released between FDH and Resurrection Records. Limited to only 500 copies, each copy with a free download code for the album with a extra 2 tracks. Get it while it lasts!
http://www.myspace.com/thebandwomen

WOMEN - Same 7" (FDH Rec.) 5,00 Euro
6 song debut 7" from Philly's best punk band WOMEN. To me they sound like a mix of 70's UK punk and late 90's RIP OFF record style garage (mixed with early 80's hardcore is sure to leave you wanting more). Be your own judge and stop by the FDH myspace page to hear a tune.

WONK UNIT - Feel The Wonkness LP (Drunken Sailor Rec.) 12,90 EUR
Wonk Unit were formed several years ago by Alex Johnson, formerly of The Flying Medallions, I’m told they began as a performance art project, essentially a vehicle for vocalist Alex. Alex Johnson is a one off. He provokes reaction. Poet, songwriter, performer, "tourtured soul", there isn't much that life hasn't already thrown at him. Wonk Unit have released several albums on CD and become one of the hardest working bands in the UK, playing countless gigs (I mean, they even have their own festival, Wonk Fest!).
An obvious reference point would be Snuff (hell, Duncan Redmonds even plays on some songs and occasionally drums for them live), with the perfect UK pop- punk sound, organ and horns. Wonk Unit are much more than that though, with songs that are fun, energetic, heartfelt, thought provoking, angry, hilarious, exciting and catchy as fuck. Never afraid to push boundaries, whilst having a sound born out of Snuff/ Wat Tyler/ China Drum, they still have an originality that makes them unique. With songs chosen by the band, Johanns Face and Drunken Sailor and taken from the albums 'Trolleys, Muffy, Nervous Racehorse and a couple of exclusive songs, we think it is the perfect introduction to one of the best UK bands.

WONTONS - Karaoke night 7" (Screaming Apple Rec.) 4,00 Euro

WOODBOOT – Crime Time LP (Erste Theke Rec.) 13,50 EUR
Highly recommended by P.Trash Records!!! File under BRUTAL KNIGHTS, REATARDS, SUPERHELICOPTER etc. Good news for people with short attention spans! A band called Woodboot is a master in making traditional sounding punk music, which has the recognizable properties of each song being short and to the point. The main focus point is to f#ck everyone around you that isn’t into this rough around the edges punk tracks!
Starting and stagnating as a two-piece, this jangly Brisbane duo of Daniel and Julien decided to thicken their sound two years ago, and so formed a fully-fledged band. The addition of second guitarist Sam and drummer Donnie prompted an album, and CRIME TIME is the second release for these garage grime ‘n’ rollers. The group follows in the footsteps of THE SPITS and the RAMONES with fast-paced, three-chord gusto.

WOODENTOPS - Hypno Beat LP (Rough Trade Rec.) 5,00 Euro

WORMEATERS - In God We Thrust 7" (Hardware Rec.) 4,50 Euro
Hailing from New Brunswick, NJ those dudes pull up some of the most pissed off, raw hardcore you've heard in ages. "In god we thrust" contains 5 songs of literally sheer brutality. Influences range from early SHEER TERROR to CITIZENS ARREST and even older stuff like NEGATIVE APPROACH or YDI.

WOUNDED LION - IVXLCDM LP (In The Red Rec.) 15,90 EUR
The group’s sophomore album IVXLCDM is a total ripper. The Lion has grown smarter and meaner with the addition of Lars Finberg (chief Intelligence officer, original pounder for the A-Frames, and current drummer #2 for Thee Oh Sees) nailing it behind the drum kit and adding rich, fucked-futurist guitar action. Recorded by the singular Chris Woodhouse (Mayyors, Karate Party, etc.), the LP sounds dense and purposeful, with clattering, duel-Telecaster strum, tube-amp hum and feel-it-in-your-chest kick drum. IVXLCDM is without a doubt one of the best records of 2011—not just from Los Angeles or the underground, but from the entire spectrum of activity of living things in the universe.

WOUNDED LION - Friendly? 7" (In The Red Rec.) 5,90 EUR
Los Angeles' favorite sons latest single appears on their new home, ITR. One incredible original, one Wild Man Fischer cover and one from CCR. One of the best live bands in the world today. Equal parts VU, Mary Chain, New Creation, Modern Lovers, The Clean and just great music in general.

WOUNDED LION - Same LP (In The Red Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Los Angeles gets a bad rap. The city is known for shallow glitter, brutal cops and urban unrest--and sure, the stereotypes are sometimes accurate, but there are also lots of everyday folks, living unpretentious everyday lives. It's also true that Los Angeles is famous for a healthy underground music scene, both in the past and in the present. Take the everyday folks and drop them into an underground scene and you get something like WOUNDED LION, a great no-frills band that sounds fresh, even when they remind one of classic American Power-Pop of the '70s. Inspired by The VELVETS, The CRAMPS, The CLEAN and The VASELINES (as well as Credence Clearwater Revival and Kleenex), WOUNDED LION is regularly seen at Los Angeles haunts such as Mr. T's BOWL, The SMELL, The SCENE and SPACELAND. Their hum-inducing, toe-tapping tunes wiggle their way into your brain and have you singing their choruses at the grocery store or waiting in line at the DMV. The band's formula is relatively simple: shambling, alternately silly and poignant songs that bend and twist timeless Pop hooks. The bass and guitars belch out raw distortion, lending the music a primitive quality, but a whimsical sensibility elevates the abrasiveness to a jubilant level. WOVEN BONES - Your Sorcery 7" (Sweet Rot Rec.) 5,50 EUR
In my humble opinion, "Your Sorcery" is the best song Austin's WOVEN BONES have committed to wax so far in their brief career. Its crazy tight rhythm section keeping everything grounded, perfect guitar tone, and just enough 'tude in the vocals should keep you spinning it over and over and over again. The flip "Howlin Woof" relaxes the intensity a bit but succeeds just as much with its slow-burn approach. Previous 7"s (including a split with the JACUZZI BOYS) were on Hozac and Needless and an LP is upcoming from Hozac! http://www.myspace.com/wovenbones

WRONG HOLE - 2012 LP (Full Trash 109)(Co-release with Prügelprinz / Pleasance / Cut The Cord That... Rec.)
Limd. 500 "Regular" Edit. comes in black wax fixed into normal sleeves! 11,90 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. comes in blue wax fixed into recycled/natural sleeves! For P.Trash Club-members only! 12,90 Euro
WRONG HOLE's debut LP “2012” is a close match for P.Trash-roster especially for the rear part of the mark. It's kinda oldschool punk and hardcore mixed with synth- and garage-punk, but first and foremost it's brilliant TRASH. The line-up of the band features Nick Flanagan "vocals" (BRUTAL KNIGHTS, TEEN CRUD COMBO, KILLER ELITE, COME), Andrew Moszynski "guitar, drum programming" (QUEST FOR FIRE, DEADLY SNAKES, KILLER ELITE) and Jon Schouten "Synth" (TEENANGER).
The "vocals" show analogies to BRUTAL KNIGHTS snotty HC-style plus digitally effected weirdness whilst the tunes are a dirty drum machine driven mix of SPITS, TERROR VISIONS, FINAL SOLUTIONS and "Death To The Old Flesh"-era DESTRUCTION UNIT or like a fast version of the most underrated DAMNATION KIDS – all levels in the red. The musical follies of WRONG HOLE are in a way comparable with the lunatic tape-manipulation and funny noises of early BUTTHOLE SURFERS too.
The "2112"-RUSH tribute cover was illustrated by Emily Bitze and the back cover photo was taken by JR Jensen. Design by Tobin Reid. Recorded in winter 2013 at Stustustudio in Toronto, mixed by Jon Schouten at Rising Fun, and mastered by Steve Sidoli.

WRONG WORDS - Everything Is Free LP (Trouble In Mind Rec.) 17,50 EUR
This time out, THE WRONG WORDS enlist a string section, horns, and woodwinds to guide them through the pop landscape. Songwriter JOSH MILLER still burns with the fiery restlessness that peppered his tunes on their self-titled 2011 debut, but rather than bash and crash their way thru a two-and-a-half-minute pop ditty, they ease their way from verse to chorus without sacrificing any of their token pop smarts. For most pop bands, "maturing" comes at a cost; sacrificing hooks, watering down the sound, or altering their look-The Wrong Words dodge that bullet by acknowledging these new elements as pre-existing in the nature of song, ready to be plucked from the tree from which they sprung at no cost whatsoever. Limited edition LP pressed on randomly colored vinyl with download.

WRONG WORDS - Same LP (Trouble In Mind Rec.) 14,90 EUR
For those of us who take our record collection maybe a little too seriously, it’s a comfort when a band just seems to get it. While there isn’t much left to be said about the current music scene in San Francisco (where The Wrong Words hail from) we like to think they have combined all of its best elements (power pop, punk and a dab of flower-psych) on this amazingly solid debut LP. Recorded by Greg Ashley of The Gris Gris and mastered by Mikey Young of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, The Wrong Words have been referred to as a “West Coast Gentleman Jesse”. While there is no denying the Californian influence, there is a midwestern blue collar pop feel as well a’la The Scruffs or more than a few tracks off of the Yellow Pills comp. RIYL: Gentleman Jesse, Jaill, XTC, Nick Lowe, Barracudas

WYMYNS PRYSYN - Pay Day 7" (Scavenger Of Death Rec.) 6,90 EUR
Killer 2nd outing by Wxpx. Loud, fast, grimey, and fuggin' catchy! In my opinion their best to date, they do a great job of pairing bummer vibes to an upbeat rhythm.
